must be some kind of sorcerer...

- OfTheSun, on 12/26/2008, -4/+57Kobe = Ratings for the NBA.
- stellarceltic, on 12/26/2008, -12/+63This was Kobe's 10th Christmas game in a row. Time to give the guy a break?
- Jabrams2, on 12/26/2008, -10/+56that was by far the most intense game of the season so far. great stuff
- Farmer77, on 12/26/2008, -2/+46c-c-c-combo breaker!
- s7amboo, on 12/26/2008, -2/+45Playoff like intensity in the middle of the season! Merry Christmas!!!
- saharsamadani, on 12/26/2008, -11/+45That was a great game, LA had a lot to prove and they did.
I've said it before and I'll probably say it again....Gasol was great. - indubitably, on 12/26/2008, -3/+36He is to Christmas what the Detroit Lions are to Thanksgiving. Minus the suckage.
- RC18, on 12/26/2008, -4/+36who the hell is koby
- archieboi, on 12/26/2008, -4/+31KOBE
- 7Wiseguy, on 12/26/2008, -3/+29I hope they keep this up. Lakers play great, blowout tough teams, and then lose to Oklahoma Something. But today's game was amazing. All the Lakers played well. Gasol played like he did in Beijing. And Phil did the wise thing and started Kobe in the 4th quarter.
- aflaks, on 12/26/2008, -1/+20He's just the zen master. Dont think for a second he didnt plan this back in '96
- OMGRussellCrowe, on 12/26/2008, -3/+21I dunno, the game before it was pretty damn good.
- kadio, on 12/26/2008, -1/+17as a fellow californian, i'm ashamed of you, kgceltsg2k.
what the ***** kind of handle is that for somebody from california? - Jeepy, on 12/26/2008, -18/+33Boston's going down to LeBron and Cleveland in the eastern conference finals and Pierce still deserves a bow to the face.
/bandwagon fans bait - JaHogie, on 12/26/2008, -2/+15Koby FTL, Kobe FTW
- cdhill, on 12/26/2008, -14/+27The Lakers had way more to prove here tonight, and in the long run, I think the Celtics are the better team for this season.
That being said, the Lakers outplayed the Celtics today and deserved to win. - inactive, on 12/26/2008, -33/+46***** anything Boston or New York
- inactive, on 12/26/2008, -2/+14This entire regular season is nothing more than a precursor to the clash of the titans in an NBA finals rematch.
Lakers and Celtics, the rematch almost seems inevitable. Life is good. - Archimedes0212, on 12/26/2008, -10/+21Lakers are gonna kick ass and take names this season!!!
- OMGRussellCrowe, on 12/26/2008, -2/+13Damn that ostrich man!
- johnnie518, on 12/26/2008, -2/+12did you see him try to jump it up against kobe? he wasn't even supposed to jump! did he think the refs are dumb enough not to notice? i've lost all respect for kevin garnett ever since he went to the celtics
- Mark2600, on 12/26/2008, -5/+14Was a great game, sad that the Celtics lost, but it was a great game.
- cathpah, on 12/26/2008, -3/+12you can tell what a fan he is....given his knowledge of how to spell Mr. Bryant's first name.
- redskyformiles, on 12/26/2008, -7/+16: )
- Jeepy, on 12/26/2008, -2/+11They won't have to LeBron and Cleveland are going to win the east.
- ronllave, on 12/26/2008, -0/+8Free tacos!!
- scoottie, on 12/26/2008, -11/+19cuz pierce is a pussy
- scoottie, on 12/26/2008, -4/+12i am a Lakers fan from the 80's so anyone wearing Celtic green is no friend of mine.
beside that garnett has become an ***** over the passed couple years - inactive, on 12/26/2008, -2/+10oh come on, it's way too easy to bash the East Coast. I suppose if Calif and NY were comparing governors, the most recently replaced NY governor was playing with hookers.
- xylophonefilms, on 12/26/2008, -0/+7Great game. Last 2 mins were intense. Gasol finally stepped up after playing timid early. Luke made some solid plays and didn't force plays, I see why Phil put him in the starting lineup. Still early, let's see how it goes when the Lakers play at Boston, but this gives hope for another classic Finals showdown.
- kiantech, on 12/26/2008, -0/+6dude that team sounds awesome!
- cathpah, on 12/26/2008, -0/+6@ shamanking
i believe he's referring to playoffs. - MothBoy, on 12/26/2008, -2/+8The Lakers own 33. No way they were going to jeopardize that tonight.
- Yegger, on 12/26/2008, -5/+11He does flop like a bitch.
So does Gasol tho - ScottyAnimal, on 12/26/2008, -1/+7With the reffing the way it was, he prob could have gotten away with it.
- deeds281, on 12/26/2008, -0/+5In the end that's all that really counts
- scoottie, on 12/26/2008, -1/+6that and his holy then thou attitude with gasol
- iamvahe, on 12/26/2008, -1/+6See game 2 of last season's NBA finals.
- Richandler, on 12/26/2008, -2/+7I don't watch much basketball, but when I do I tend to get lucky and see the really awesome games.
- iamvahe, on 12/26/2008, -1/+6So what you're saying is that they didnt care to win because they have 1 ring. Says a lot about boston. Kobe has 3 and Phil has 9. I guess they shouldnt care either.
- MothBoy, on 12/26/2008, -2/+6Good god, where do I start? Tommy Heinsohn's announcing and McHale's dirty play were enough to piss off anybody alive in the 80's. The Celtics have done nothing worthwhile since until last year, but McHale stepped up to the plate to make sure everyone hates the Celtics in this century as well, by giving Garnett to them.
- lakeshow247, on 12/26/2008, -5/+9I was lucky enough to be at the game this afternoon and all I can say is - ***** yes. The game was great. It seems like everyone in LA really hates Paul Pierce. That's funny because so do I. I have no respect for the guy. The best part is that I started a chant - "PAUL PIERCE SUCKS" - and had the entire crowd saying it with me. The ultimate highlight was when he stared directly at me, trying to act hard, but I couldn't believe he didn't flop when I looked back. I have to admit, for a moment I was a little nervous that I ignited his fire and he was going to light up the last four minutes of the fourth quarter and steal the game. BUT, he didn't, Gasol did, and the Lakers won. I hate Boston fans and I'm sure they hate me. Thankfully, I was sitting next to two of them.
Merry ***** Christmas Pierce. - T8erT0T, on 12/26/2008, -3/+7Your governor starred in Jingle All The Way, and you have the audacity to call out Boston and New York.
Let that soak in for just a moment until you realize just how out of your element you are to start hating on the East. - MothBoy, on 12/26/2008, -4/+8Dude, that was last year. They cut Koby Karl in the preseason.
- pacificislandr4, on 12/27/2008, -0/+4They always do that. So do a lot of other teams.
- iamvahe, on 12/26/2008, -1/+5See game 2 of last season's NBA finals.
- cddict1, on 12/26/2008, -5/+9Lakers Rocks
- rohit275, on 12/26/2008, -0/+4Haha I think Gasol just falls when someone bigger than him crashes into him. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the man, he had a phenomenal second half today after starting cold. But he definitely plays a finesse rather than a physical game.
Pierce on the other hand seriously annoys the crap out of me with his flopping, acting, and whining. Dude has got talent but sometimes he needs to just let the game be played the way it's intended to be played. Wheelchaired off the court in game 1 last year only to come back on and dominate a minute later? Please. -
