good luck with that one boston. - Nouman6, on 02/28/2009, -0/+15have to say he looked good out there.
- Trekhawk, on 02/28/2009, -5/+20Enjoy your cancer, Boston. But the man does make an honest sneaker. I will say that.
- OneySeal, on 02/28/2009, -0/+10Eight points, not bad. However, don't overlook Rajon Rondos SEVENTEEN assists. Sweet!
- ksalminen, on 02/28/2009, -0/+8If Marbury can get over the piss poor attitude he had in New York then I think he'll make a great addition to the team.
- Joest23, on 02/28/2009, -1/+8***** finally. As a Knicks/Nets fan, I'm glad he is out of New York. He has caused us so much humiliation and grief. People outside of New York probably don't know of how terrible teammate he is (He's a good player, but a terrible teammate). From the infighting, to the 'quitting the team' and coming back 2 nights later and playing 40 minutes, making enemies withe very person he comes encounter with and spending a whole season on the bench because a coach FINALLY got the balls to stand up to him, I am glad he is out of New York and I hope he has soda thrown at him when he is here for an away game. Good riddance, I say.
- gjmacd, on 02/28/2009, -0/+713 minutes, 8 points, 2 assists. Not bad; People can say what they want. This was a smart, smart move on the Celtics part.
- handler, on 02/28/2009, -0/+7He was in uniform.
- gjmacd, on 02/28/2009, -1/+8Folks who follow the game know this is his last stop. If you can't be on winning team and play nice, you won't be playing anywhere again if you ***** that up... so this guy knows, this is the last train unless he's already got a villa in Italy...
- zsavior, on 02/28/2009, -1/+7When Marbury ends up doing great, because Knicks management is full of ass hats, people will be crying BUt.. Buu... WHY! Face it the Dolans are the creamy ***** of the NBA when it comes to owners. The knicks haven't been ***** since they let Patrick Ewing go, they treated their franchise player so badly that he left. A man that turned Michael Jordan down when asked to leave the knicks come to Chicago and get a ring. Marbury wasn't a saint but that situation could have been handled better, but no that is how the Knicks treat talent.
And every year New Yorkers put up with it, "OH it is Isiah's fault, Oh it is the players, fault", when will you wake up and see the Owners are just horrible. Nobody finds it funny that the Celtics are willing to add him on? If he is such a bad egg why would they do that? They are second in the eastern conference think they would waste time on somebody that would bring them down, don't any of you ask yourself why Marbury is cream for them and crap for New York?
I gave up on the Knicks so long ago, but I guess many of you know the truth already that is why I am reading comments like F' the Celtics. Deep Down it burns, when you watch somebody that was "cancer" for us, be the power house for another team. - gjmacd, on 02/28/2009, -3/+8Thanks! It was the same sentiment when they signed Dennis Johnson in 83'. How'd that work out?
And people said the same thing when Schilling signed with the Sox, how'd that work out?
The list goes on...
Low risk, High reward... the law of diminishing returns my friend. - panacean, on 02/28/2009, -1/+6wtf
- krahzee, on 02/28/2009, -0/+5Yeah he does, but did he have to put the company logo on the side of his head?
- inactive, on 02/28/2009, -0/+5He looked happy. But then again, they usually are after leaving a team they hated playing for.
- kennynorton, on 02/28/2009, -1/+5If Marbury plays role player Marbury, and doesn't try to be STARbury, this can be an amazing pickup for the Celts. Marbury & Mikki Moore, two great signings in a week.
- ZeeZee2k, on 02/28/2009, -6/+9We just gave the Celtics AIDS.
- deboerpa, on 02/28/2009, -1/+3KG and Marbury back together again....o damn.
- FriedTurkey, on 02/28/2009, -2/+4Wow. I didn't think it was possible to screw up the renewed Celtics with one player. They should bring back Rodman to complete the destruction. Terrell Owens is proud of his basketball skills too. Maybe give him a call?
- vagrantwade, on 02/28/2009, -2/+4Career long Marbury fan. Talk all the ***** you want, he is one of the best point guards there is.
- JakePM, on 02/28/2009, -0/+2yeah - he'll destroy the celts just as he did the knicks. he has such a negative and self centered attitude, he's like a 2 year old.
- TeeBaagz, on 03/02/2009, -0/+1*yawn*
- RobbieS, on 02/28/2009, -1/+2Digg needs a new algo for the sports section. So often do I see stories where the next step has already occurred, making the story that makes the front page old news. It works for...traditional news, like "Such and such development in a case" or "Disaster in so and so" or "New XYZ released". But with sports stories, with the storylines really changing on a nightly basis, Digg is just too slow.
- CrunchyDeluxe, on 02/28/2009, -0/+1So how's that NBA title treating y--
Oh, that's right... the Celtics are the defending champs...
:-) - thetruthis, on 02/28/2009, -1/+2***** THE CELTICS!! GO LAKERS!! Marbury will infiltrate the celtics like cancer just like he did on the Knicks. Hey, at least he has cheap shoes kids can afford.
- chasesagum, on 02/28/2009, -1/+2I hope that Marbury is to the Celtics like Steve Kerr is to the Suns. A Spy! A Cancer! A destroyer of the organization. That way the Lakers can cruise on their way to a championship!
- bekindin09, on 02/28/2009, -0/+1I wonder if all these Marbury haters know how D'Antoni treated him in NY
- scoottie, on 02/28/2009, -1/+2Good they can have his overpaid under playing ass and hopefully he will bring some much needed fractures to the locker room
- nobleexperiment, on 02/28/2009, -4/+4Dugg as a Lakers fan. Have fun Boston. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
- huggybear78, on 02/28/2009, -2/+2Marbury , now he's a good role model.......hahahaha

- JCH897, on 02/28/2009, -11/+5***** YOU HATERS. BOSTON BE UP IN DIS *****
- mu0p, on 02/28/2009, -9/+3Guess boston's getting pretty nervous considering LA's recent performance. Also, Go Lakers.
- yammy1688, on 02/28/2009, -12/+2Inconsequential. Lakers 09
