- StealthSnake832, on 01/21/2009, -2/+13This is a really awful mix. There are far better dunk videos than this.
- system5y, on 01/21/2009, -2/+11nice dunks, but too much on vince carter's jock
- twigzz, on 01/21/2009, -2/+9This is crazy. I was a fan of Vince Carter. Those were the good days, when he tried. I still love his dunks though. Just in the dunk competition, it was better than all of the other ones.
- chestr, on 01/21/2009, -0/+5You're probably right but it's hard to argue with the dunks Carter has pulled off during real games:

- snagra, on 01/21/2009, -0/+4You sounds like someone just seeking diggs.
- SasquatchBill, on 01/21/2009, -1/+5I seen better grammar.
- ihavefrowned, on 01/21/2009, -0/+3I wasn't too impressed until he did the twisty thing and the bouncy thing.
- firesights, on 01/21/2009, -1/+4We got it. You think soccer celebrations are better than football/basketball celebrations. You're clearly an unbiased viewer.
Next time Cristiano Ronaldo scores a goal and celebrates, it's totally for the team. Because egos just don't exist in soccer. Ha. Haha.
Your post is complete FAIL. - psychohog, on 01/21/2009, -0/+3Boomshakalaka!
- vitaminz1990, on 01/21/2009, -1/+4What?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDyBSTQDwH8 - WRDinc, on 01/21/2009, -0/+3I've seen better.
- stdjeu11, on 01/21/2009, -0/+3Good dunks....missing some of the best...Jordan, Kobe, Dawkins, McGrady, Kemp, Drexler etc.
- Alanamaslama, on 01/21/2009, -1/+4Someone should make a compilation of best IN-GAME dunks. And not from And-1 or All-Star games, but basketball games where the players really try to play defense.
- eric0105, on 01/21/2009, -1/+3I've seen better.
- karmaroks, on 01/21/2009, -1/+3If a basketball video should make it to frontpage I suggest it be this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB6Vj-t4Ucs
- karmaroks, on 01/21/2009, -1/+3They ARE celebrating the goal. I seriously doubt they would do any of that if the ball didn't go through the hoop.
And soccer easily surpasses any american sport when it comes to celebration, which voids your bitching. - retrac1325, on 01/21/2009, -3/+53 Person Dunk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ro32wB_D2Q - newbill123, on 01/21/2009, -0/+2Not criticizing Vince or those awesome dunks, but it raised a question in my mind...
Why do so many guys praise dunk contests and look down on gymnastics? Why do so many who label gymnastics as "gay" see no contradiction in praising the fire and grace from dunking a basketball (esp while not in a real game)? Is it just the outfits? - virtualonliner, on 01/21/2009, -2/+4I think Vince Carter dunks are the absolute best. That reverse 360 is just out of the world.
- openparachute, on 01/21/2009, -1/+3I remember that one time I crossed Vince Carter at the top of the key, then I used his shoulders as a diving board. Yes... I dove through the hoop.
- IIECONII, on 01/21/2009, -0/+2It don't count if you dunk on a European.
edit: watch 'till the end - tre3rd, on 01/21/2009, -0/+2dr j rock the cradle G.O.A.T
- coreydoucorey, on 02/11/2009, -0/+2Thanks a lot! Host is down. http://manxl.org
- Halsfield, on 01/21/2009, -0/+2i thought that was going to be where someone passed the ball to someone in mid air, that person passed to someone else that jumped just after the 2nd person and the 3rd person dunked it. still cool although i bet that highschool was pissed about having to replace their hoop.
- Soytaco, on 01/21/2009, -1/+3Wrong. The best dunk ever was when Jordan dunked another bull's missed free throw after it hit the rim, by time it ball bounced off the hoop he was already sprinting into the key.
Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ1CuCOp3FQ
Bad angle but oh well :p - javiero, on 01/21/2009, -0/+2nah,, this is the best dunk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caNVWoHLejE - turboner, on 01/21/2009, -1/+2I could have sworn that said DRUNKS
- SasquatchBill, on 01/21/2009, -3/+4Man I get tired of the egos in American sport. If you're so hot, why do you have to yell and parade about? I get the intensity... but the dancing, the hollering, the chest thumping... come on. If you're going to celebrate, celebrate the goal, not yourself.
Like my coach used to tell us - "Act like you've been there." - karmaroks, on 01/21/2009, -0/+1Why would you waste your own time commenting on things you don't like? Does other people liking basketball somehow affect your life?
- 7Wiseguy, on 01/21/2009, -0/+1Who got the basket?
- vikblazin, on 01/21/2009, -3/+4vinsanity
- deweyhewson, on 01/21/2009, -0/+1Better angle:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsCGnL6WX5g - SasquatchBill, on 01/21/2009, -1/+2Ugh. Firesights, read that last paragraph that I wrote, compare it with the conclusions you drew in your first line, and then see if you can guess my opinions on Cristiano Ronaldo.
- BlackSheep720, on 01/21/2009, -0/+1so how about submit it and see if the community wants it to be on the frontpage? it's not just magically going to appear there.
- shoesdunkcom, on 05/18/2009, -0/+0it is so cute,I love it !!

- aznromeo4u, on 01/21/2009, -4/+4how the hell did this get in the front page of digg...I seen better videos.
- inactive, on 01/22/2009, -0/+0just wanted to share my pain with others, sorry mate
- SasquatchBill, on 01/21/2009, -2/+1Oh come on. You really think that Vince Carter is hopping up and down and thumping his chest during the All-Star Slamdunk Contest because he's so gosh-darn happy that ball just went in? Or when a wide-receiver grabs a cell-phone hidden in the Uprights' pad and calls someone after making a touchdown, you really think that celebration is about anything BUT him?
Watch any Pro football game and when the losing team's defense makes a sack, that fat bastard will still shuffle his tubby ass around a bit, regardless of how many touchdowns his line has allowed. If it was about the Goal (in this case, the defense stopping the other team), the guy would get back up, get back on the line, and get ready to do it again.
Soccer has huge celebrations largely due to the fact that scoring is so damn rare. Clearly making that one point in soccer has a much bigger impact on your team's outcome than a single dunk in basketball. I could even see some leeway in football because scoring a touchdown isn't exactly easy either.
But if you think it's about celebration, you're missing the point. it's about how you celebrate, not THAT you celebrate. There is a lot of intensity that builds up when you're playing a sport - and of course when a point/goal/score etc. is made it is going to come out because you've achieved what you were working so hard to do. But when you celebrate yourself and not the achievement, you're an *****. It doesn't matter the sport or the country. - RansomHoldiay, on 01/21/2009, -2/+1you sound like a youtube comment.
- burden555, on 01/21/2009, -4/+3you should see me dunk
- GDOG5, on 01/21/2009, -4/+3Dam, I thought it said bet basketball drunks!
- crazyhorse13, on 01/21/2009, -5/+4Basketball culture makes me laugh.
- lewystud, on 01/21/2009, -5/+3white men still can't jump
- inactive, on 01/21/2009, -5/+1I didn't even watch the video, but I would like to add something. Basketball/dunks can only be so entertaining. There's a pretty big difference between the cool/random things that can happen in football and the cool/random things that can happen in basketball.
