yoursportsfix.com — The Pittsburgh Pirates have pulled outfielder Xavier Nady from the game and apparently traded the hard hitting outfielder and reliever Damaso Marte to the New York Yankees for a package of 4 minor league players.

  • Linkin4, on 07/26/2008, -0/+2Great trade from the Yankees stand point, we're talking about two huge impact players, and all they had to give away was an average right hander and some prospects.
  • Skitzzo, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1Linkin, the only problem is that Nady is a rental and I'm not sure about Marte. Still they didn't have to give up Ian Kennedy so that's a plus.
