- itc518, on 10/27/2009, -0/+12I was waiting on a Phillies fan to comment. It should be a great series, thats for sure. Game 1 with Lee vs. Sabathia should be amazing.
- itc518, on 10/27/2009, -25/+37I cannot wait for the series to start tomorrow, lets go Yankees!
- lex0429, on 10/27/2009, -9/+17Love all you jealous Yankee haters. Bury the ***** out of me losers
Go Yanks! - Jeegus21, on 10/27/2009, -0/+8How dare you hate on cheese steaks and or their lovers. Racist bastard.
- ell0bo, on 10/27/2009, -1/+9Sunday will be a blast. Eagles take on the Giants, then we turn right around and the Phillies take on the Yankees. It's my on buddy that lives in NYC's birthday on Sunday. I'm sending him a box of tissues, hoping him the best.
- FriGuy, on 10/27/2009, -1/+8I'm using the world series defense for skipping class to pregame. sunny anyone?
- Jeegus21, on 10/27/2009, -2/+8But we know the Phills can hit Sabathia... :P
- rockon4life45, on 10/27/2009, -6/+12Oh it's just so cool to bash the yankees and their players.
- ell0bo, on 10/27/2009, -0/+4gobblers really. We wouldn't be so fat as a city if we just licked them.
- x2cprincess, on 10/27/2009, -0/+4Dear Chase,
I feel like I can call you Chase because you and me are so much alike. I would love to meet you someday. It would be great to have a catch. I know I can’t throw as fast as you, but I think you would be impressed by my speed. I love your hair. You run fast. Did you have a good relationship with your father? Me neither. These are all things we can talk about. And more. I know you have not been getting my letters because I know you would write back if you did. And I hope you write back this time and we get to be good friends. I’m sure our relationship would be a real home run. - Maxwell1234, on 10/27/2009, -0/+4Or Jedi Mind Tricks
- shnuffy, on 10/27/2009, -0/+3Gatorade and anal? Really?
- ygugsa295, on 10/27/2009, -2/+5Maybe if it was being run by Larry David instead of Steinbrenner.
- inactive, on 10/27/2009, -2/+5yawn.....big budget.......yawn......dont blame us for your poorly run organizations
- inactive, on 10/27/2009, -0/+3That sounds like it would hurt
- unsigneddigger, on 10/27/2009, -4/+7Yes
- esteskid, on 10/28/2009, -0/+3you mean the national league team that won last year?
- viserov, on 10/27/2009, -0/+2Only if you help me extort free tickets. Wait, here comes a car...
- itc518, on 10/28/2009, -0/+2I would think that Sabathia and Lee both know each others stuff very well considering they are good friends and helped each other out while in Cleveland, that may be a factor for both teams. I think the Yankees will be able to hit Le though, but well see. Under 12 hrs to go!
- ell0bo, on 10/27/2009, -1/+3I'm a Phillies fan, I wouldn't exactly say it's a poorly run organization.
- itc518, on 10/28/2009, -0/+2Jedi Mind Tricks are excellent, and I dont listen to a lot of rap.
- lindenwold, on 10/27/2009, -4/+6who's this Neeko guy?
You wanna get some real philly music talent call up the roots or beans.
either way, gonna be nice watching the phils stomp these guys out. - AiR1890, on 10/27/2009, -2/+3I am not a really huge baseball fan, but I think I will root for the Phillies, since that is where my favorite show takes place.
- BubblesTheChimp, on 10/27/2009, -0/+1Monkeys? Wat?
- Monotonousblob, on 10/27/2009, -1/+2I'm a Yankees fan and hope they win, but even if they lose it's still been a great season, and I honestly like the Phillies (players, organization, and fans) so they're not a team I would hate to lose to.
- senseofit, on 10/28/2009, -1/+2I am very excited about the World Series this year. I was excited about the post season. I am from Philly, but also lived a lot of years around New York. The Phillies and the Yankees both became my favorite teams. I am a little more partial towards the Phillies, but am equally excited for both teams. I will be just as happy, regardless of which team wins. I just want this to be a really good and competitive series. I am curious to see how the Phillies hold up against the Yankees and vice versa. I do believe that this series is going to be more challenging for the Phillies than last year, but not impossible. I am not going to predict any winner of this series. If the Phillies lose, I won't be upset. Hey, they won last year, and got the National League Pennant again this year. If they Yankees don't win, hey the Phillies will write a new history for themselves. In the meantime, I just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the game and see some good sportsmanship out there, and two very passionate teams who love what they do give us a really great series. I am curious to see how the Phillies Pitchers can handle A-Rod at bat, and how the Yankees Pitchers can handle Rollins at bat. I never dreamed that both these teams would face off this year in the World Series. They did once before, in 1950. In that series, the Yankees won. It will be interesting to see how they play against one another.
- ell0bo, on 10/27/2009, -1/+2it's no the size that matters, it's how you use it
- esteskid, on 10/27/2009, -3/+4Now you're catching on
- spooks2k6, on 10/27/2009, -1/+1I like the "Sly Bacon," line. Anyway WHITESOX FTW!!!
- jshhmr, on 10/27/2009, -7/+7No
- SirRX7, on 10/27/2009, -3/+3Wahhhhhhh!!! Cry all you want Yankee haters. Keep rooting for your team that refuses to take some of it's profits and put in back into the team to give you a winning product.
Boohoo!!!! My team's owner pockets all the profits and now my team can't beat a little league squad.
GO YANKEES - joculator, on 10/27/2009, -1/+1I never said anything was wrong with cheese steaks.
- itc518, on 10/28/2009, -1/+1Hell ya, lets go Yankees!
- esteskid, on 10/27/2009, -30/+29***** THE YANKEES
- TheEighth, on 10/27/2009, -3/+2As the greatest living baseball player, it's pretty easy to guess who I'm rooting for.
- sajuuk, on 10/27/2009, -15/+14Baseball is dead to me. But I'll root for the Phillies just so I can have the sweet satisfaction of seeing the Yankees lose. They've won enough times already due to their overly large budget.
- wozup, on 10/27/2009, -19/+18Seriously, does anybody honestly want the Yankees to win?
- esteskid, on 10/27/2009, -5/+4I was referring to your Father.
- Exhaust, on 10/28/2009, -3/+2LET'S
GO
YANKEES! - joculator, on 10/27/2009, -8/+6Like your Mom does.
- anarcurt, on 10/27/2009, -3/+1Love the Yankees. Love NY. But I have to say, that Jay-Z song sucks.
- puppyoneb, on 10/27/2009, -3/+1kingoftheinternet... YOU LIE!!!
*sits back down* - mheyk, on 10/27/2009, -5/+3Go California!!!
- inactive, on 10/27/2009, -4/+2The World Series? Oh yeah that is the thing that canceled Fox cartoons on Sunday, ***** the MLB.
- kingofinternet, on 10/27/2009, -9/+6if you hate the yankees you hate capitalism, meritocracy, and you hate america. revenue sharing and salary caps are socialism. if you have the most money and you can afford the most proven players then nothing and no one should try and restrict your freedom to go after them. are you upset because some players use steroids, that it creates an unfair playing field? show me any other area of life that is not tainted by outside influence or cheating.
yankees in 6. - inactive, on 10/27/2009, -9/+5Hate the Yankees all you want. They are the better team, and they win will. Lol @ national league.
- cobophers, on 10/27/2009, -8/+3Yeah, World Series brings out the BIG names. You know...the ones that show up for the 1st time to the stadium and take the die hard fan's seat because they have more money. Then, other rich people take pictures with the BIG NAME people and post their stupid f*cking pictures to facebook and tweet about how f*cking awesome this experience has been......like it means something. Then, the Monkey goes and spreads word to the office or school about how they were there and are big fans. Regardless that they had to buy memorabilia AT THE GAME because they don't remember the last time they went TO A GAME. Because they are the really fun smug f*cks that just showed up because they had tickets through some corporate hullabaloo. Those *ssholes get on television..like it means something. Luckily however Monkeys at the game didn't wash their hands and Monkeys caught the flu of the swine.
*repeat*
