- MMusick, on 07/14/2009, -0/+10I'm a Braves fan so will admit some bias, but Jair Jurrjens should have been a pitcher for the NL for sure.

- Blinker1315, on 07/14/2009, -0/+6Typical Time tripe. If you're going to do a list like this, which isn't a bad idea, why limit it to 10? Every year there are undeserving All Stars, either voted in by fans or put on team to satisfy the requirement that every team is represented. The list could be 100, easy.
- palmer, on 07/14/2009, -0/+3WTF is "top" doing at the beginning of that headline? Take it away and see what you get:
10 Worst and Most Overrated MLB All-Stars
So.... why did you put "top" in there again? - seansich, on 07/14/2009, -0/+3As a Pirates fan, I agree with Mike Williams. But where the hell is Jason Varitek on this list? .220 BA last year? C'mon!!!
- sfcaptainrob, on 07/14/2009, -0/+2I'm a Tigers fan and would like Jair Jurrjens back. Thanks.
- Ch0riz0, on 07/14/2009, -0/+2Someone list them.
- FreddieD, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1Detroit did not pay attention to what Lou Pinella said while he was managing the Devil Rays: When the Braves come to you and ask about trading for your young pitcher, dont just walk away.. run away as fast as you can.

- ShingoEX, on 07/14/2009, -1/+0"But Patek really couldn't hit at all. He finished the first half of the '72 season with a .223 average, 0 homers, and just 19 RBI."
Uh...he obviously *could* hit, just not very well. "Couldn't hit at all" my ass. I don't see a .000 avg and zero RBIs. - msheppard, on 07/14/2009, -2/+1I was worried Tim Wakefield would be making the list... but as I went through it I realized that the reason a player makes the team is because the fans want to see them play. I think Wakefield should start personally - he's tied for wins in the league.
And then I also remembered Wake has some killer stats this year... where did that come from! - tastic, on 07/14/2009, -6/+3 1. Frankie Zak, Pittsburgh Pirates (1944)
