Face it. The reason salaries and payrolls are so high is because we're willing to pay to see the games, buy the merchandise, and watch on tv. The teams end up making more money back by paying some of those salaries. Sure the Yankees have a $200 million payroll, but spending that much each year is part of the reason the franchise is valued at $1.2 billion. - iPiranha, on 06/30/2008, -0/+1Don't get angry at George and Harold for investing in their team.
