I coached softball for about 15 years as my kids worked their way through the school system - many happy memories, but none so dramatic. Still, it is NOT hard to imagine most of my girls - and most of our opponents - reacting the same way, which is, I'm sure, a big part of the reason my memories of those seasons are so fond.
