- nobleexperiment, on 07/16/2009, -2/+9Dugg because Obama had to put up with Tim McCarver. Nobody wants to hear Tim McCarver.

- EggAndMuffin, on 07/16/2009, -0/+4Growing up in Korea, I've seen MANY people wearing this baseball cap.
(but not a huge baseball fan)
I came to the States and one day went to a store looking for this cap.
I asked the Caucasian lady behind the counter
"I'm looking for a cap with SEX on it"
She looked very confused and went "what"?
I repeat the question, then in few seconds I noticed those caps displaying on the wall behind her.
THAT is when I realized the letters are "Sox", not "Sex".
I hurriedly left the store and never went there again.
All my life I thought the cap has the letter "Sex" on it.
:l - NorrisOBE, on 07/16/2009, -1/+5Atleast he's enjoying himself and not taking it too seriously.
- vitaminz1990, on 07/16/2009, -3/+7Looks like you're taking the easy way to getting dug up, by dissing Fox News. Seriously, I know Fox News isn't perfect, but can digg get some new material?
- anotherjack, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3That would certainly be an interesting team. I'd root for 'em.

- Misinformant, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3It takes a calm, collected diplomat to not want to strangle Tim McCarver or Joe Buck

- Revovisionary, on 07/16/2009, -1/+3Are you saying that Jack Kennedy wasn't cool? Hell Franklin Roosevelt was cooler then Teddy in my book!

- deema1, on 07/16/2009, -3/+3Yes, he truly loves the White Sox. All that great Cominsky Park history.
I loved the mom jeans too. That was a nice touch. - bigp3rm, on 07/16/2009, -5/+5These comment suck. Btw I would rather sit and have a beer with this guy over the last guy.
- jbella, on 07/16/2009, -1/+1Bush was said to have the aura of a "common man" but I think that is based on a false media prejudice that the "common man" is stupid. Just because Bush was unsophisticated, does not make him a "common man." Nothing about Bush's life would put him in that category. He father was the head of the CIA, vice president, and president. The fact is, he was born wealthy and throughout his life has enjoyed the benefits of being from a wealthy well-connected family. He scored a 1206 on his SATs, and yet was accepted into Yale. He graduated from Yale with a 2.35 GPA.. and yet was accepted into Harvard business school. How exactly does that happen?
Obama, on the other hand grew up as a child of a single parent and was raised by her and his grandparents. None of them were wealthy. He went to a small liberal arts college in LA, and after two years transferred to Columbia in NY, and from there he went to Harvard law school. He had no special family connections or wealth and it's pretty clear he pulled himself up by his own bootstraps. - tennis43267, on 07/16/2009, -2/+2everyone is saying he made it to the plate, but it definitely looks like pujols caught that ball in front of home plate
- chadsexingtime, on 07/16/2009, -3/+3Oh my god, is obama doing something other than fixing the country immediately? And how does he know about baseball? He shouldn't have time to gain any knowledge while he's spending his entire day fixing the country.
He obviously does not care, sheeple, and he probably hates baseball, america, your mother, and anything that you care about and/or relate to.
If he really cared he'd never be seen outside of the whitehouse, unless going outside the whitehouse was what was needed to fix this country immediately.
Vote republican to fix the country - we know whats wrong, its the gays, immigrants, and non-christians that are working together to bring this fine country down. We will do whatever it takes to get rid of them, even if we have to trample some poor people to do it. In fact, we'll just add the poor people to the list, because if they cared about this country, they'd get better jobs. - TheInformer, on 07/16/2009, -1/+1If Bush would have made the same type of pitch, I wonder who would be saying "FIRST PITCH IS SERIOUS BUSINESS AND VERY RELEVANT TO PRESIDENCY" and making a point that the pathetic pitch is an example of the administration's competency.
- sperez0986, on 07/16/2009, -3/+2Cooler than the other side of the pillow.
- sanibelsnook, on 07/16/2009, -3/+2for all of you in love with this narcissist, don't worry - after he is ran out of office in 2012, obamma will find a home on tv and then movies ... it is where he belongs now, not trying to lead this country out of its second greatest financial emergency in its history with his big gov socialist policies and programs.
- Meocross, on 07/16/2009, -5/+4THESE. COMMENTS. STINK.
- dhowes23, on 07/16/2009, -3/+2People are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Obama is watching men play with balls.
- deema1, on 07/16/2009, -4/+2Republicans said the same thing about Bush. And we all know how that turned out.
- crackmeuppp, on 07/16/2009, -4/+2AHHHaa a future star is born...great career for an ex (hopefully) drug addict!
- christoast, on 07/16/2009, -4/+2This is a failure of a comment, all i have to say.
- christoast, on 07/16/2009, -6/+4That's the kind of idiot logic that got bush elected. we don't need a common man, we need an exceptional man. Whether the regular person identifies with him or not is irrelevant. *****, people are idiots.
- lindenwold, on 07/16/2009, -6/+3OMG OMG OMG, he's so awesome, he's great, he knows exactly how i feel and can relate to everybody . . . WOW, look how he talks to those baseball announcers, he's sooo laid back!! . .OMG OMG I LOVE having such a great president - he makes throwing money away seem cool again . . OMG OMG . . . googly eyes
- christoast, on 07/16/2009, -5/+1hint: you're an idiot
it was a typo not a misspelling.
i swear - christoast, on 07/16/2009, -6/+2im not just talking about this, moron.
- amolkold, on 07/16/2009, -9/+4He was quite the good luck charm for the NL during that half-inning.
- christoast, on 07/16/2009, -8/+2Yes we know you love Obama, god knows you can't think for your self and be critical of even someone you like.
He is serving Americans, not the other way around. But I guess that realization would require an IQ and to not be easily hypnotized by smiles and charisma. You're an idiot. thanks, bye. - christoast, on 07/16/2009, -7/+1hint: your an idiot
- vitaminz1990, on 07/16/2009, -10/+4How and why is this on the front page?
