Peanut Free Major League and Minor League Baseball Games

kidswithfoodallergies.org — July 2008: In a movement to spread food allergy awareness and include a new demographic, several ball clubs are offering peanut-free sections or peanut-free stands for fans with peanut allergy or other food allergies. Upcoming games include the Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Twins. The Nashua Pride now reserves a peanut-free section of 100 seats /game.

  • Shrun, on 07/17/2008, -0/+0The Kane County Cougars in Geneva, IL now has a peanut-free game each year that is phenomenal. It was last night, July 16, 2008. The baseball was GREAT, the stadium is gorgeous, and the fireworks were AMAZING (better than our 4th of July!)!!! And to top it off, the kids all get to run the bases after the game!!! :) They wash down the ENTIRE stadium, have no peanut or tree nut products for sale, and even the teams agree not to eat peanuts. It is the ONLY game my son can go to each year, and it is the BEST!!!!! Thank you to the Kane County Cougars, who have absolutely set the standard for peanut-free games.
