Griffey shrugs off rumors on going to Tampa Bay Rays
hitsgalore.travel — Friday Evening, Ken Griffey Jr. did a good job of shrugging off all the questions about joining the Tampa Bay Rays. The rumors began last weekend in part because the surprising Tampa Bay Rays started Friday night’s game with a 43-29 record, putting them in second place in the American League East, a game and a half behind the Boston Red Sox.
