Goose Gossage says Joba should calm down
sports.espn.go.com — Former New York Yankee and Baseball Hall of Famer Goose Gossage thinks Joba should stop his antics on the mound. Joba is quick to show his emotions after big plays, but Goose says there is no place in baseball for that behavior, particularly with the New York Yankees.

- dps184, on 05/13/2008, -0/+0Goose is as old school as they come. He has stood by the Yankees' decision to keep Joba in the bullpen, but now he wants a calmer demeanor from Joba. I understand his comments, but I agree with Joe Girardi. His emotions are what fuels him on the mound and you don't want to take that away. Maybe Mariano should intervene?!
