Right Fielder: "I DIDN'T DO *****!!!!" - asgardshill, on 07/11/2009, -0/+19There's no more lonely person on a baseball team than a pitcher throwing a no-no in the 8th and 9th innings. None of his teammates will speak to him or even make eye contact with him so that they don't distract him in any way.
- ownsauce, on 07/11/2009, -0/+12"Its a no-no, and you like it..."

I am always proud to be a Giants fan; today was no exception.
I've now seen a Giants pitcher throw a no-hitter.
All I need to see now is a World Series championship, and I can die happily. - Sploxy, on 07/11/2009, -0/+10The current Giants pitching staff is very deserving of a no-hitter, but I don't think anyone figured Sanchez as the first to accomplish that. What a nice surprise.
Way to go Sanchez! Way to go Giants! - rft3rd, on 07/11/2009, -0/+8Man, Sanchez had dirty stuff tonight.
- Stap1eGun, on 07/11/2009, -1/+8Hope you plan to live for a while.
- inactive, on 07/11/2009, -0/+7Uribe effed that one up.
- rft3rd, on 07/11/2009, -0/+6HA i beat you to it
- nd_miller, on 07/11/2009, -0/+5He had been terrible! The Giants moved him down to the bullpen from the starting rotation - why in the world did you have this guy on your team? Do you play in some kind of league values poor middle relievers? What had he done this season to suggest he should be on a fantasy baseball team? As nice as it would have been for anyone to have this guy on their roster...I call *****.
- minusthebux, on 07/11/2009, -0/+4Well, that's part of what makes no-hitters so special, because as a pitcher you really need a lot of things to break your way and you usually get some great defensive plays to help out. I don't think any pitcher has ever struck out all 27 batters in a row, even though that would be pretty awesome to see.
- GregFD3S, on 07/11/2009, -0/+4Lincecum almost threw one the night before.
- immatellyouwhat, on 07/11/2009, -0/+4F.T.N.H.
- pandorazboxx, on 07/11/2009, -1/+5great spot start for me in fantasy baseball yesterday!
- SolituSneiku, on 07/11/2009, -0/+4everyone thought it was going to be Lincecum...
- nobleexperiment, on 07/11/2009, -0/+4Well... Doc Ellis pitched a no no against my Pads on LSD :(
ughhhh - thewhits, on 07/11/2009, -0/+4Sanchez.
F. T. W. - marcb83, on 07/11/2009, -0/+3now he has trade value again yey
- Schralpy, on 07/11/2009, -0/+3Dirty Sanchez. Filthy Sanchez even.
- inactive, on 07/11/2009, -0/+2Man I wish that would happen for me...
- DMBmelch, on 07/11/2009, -0/+2No Hitter FTW!
- redscofield, on 07/11/2009, -0/+2was a great moment... i'm a long time Dodgers fan, and usually take any opportunity to hate ont eh Giants, but this transcended rivalries... extremely happy i got to watch it unfold... the moment with him and his dad was perfect... still makes me smile...
- phyx726, on 07/11/2009, -0/+2Sucks to be the Padres. After Tim, they get a no-no from Sanchez. Now who do they play next? Oh, only the other NL All-Star Pitcher Matt Cain.
- thewhits, on 07/11/2009, -0/+2Touche.
- srodolff, on 07/23/2009, -0/+1I absolutely HATE when someone calls a no-hitter/perfect game a No-No.
It sounds so wannabe. - ThraxyWaxy, on 07/11/2009, -1/+2I thought it was a perfect game, then I saw the error, what a douche! ruining his starter's perfect game like that. Booooooo Uribe.
- Monotonousblob, on 07/11/2009, -0/+1You can get a no-hitter and still walk 10 batters, even give up runs. This is impressive because he didn't walk anyone and also hand a shutout, as the error never let the player get further than first base.
- Zarokima, on 07/11/2009, -0/+1I'm not sure if "without giving up a hit" means he struck everyone out, or just that nobody actually got to another base (I'm not a sports fan), but I did remember this from when it was on Digg:
http://www.cracked.com/article_16532_p2.html - Stap1eGun, on 07/11/2009, -0/+1I'd say!
No one in my league had him but that WHIP of 0.00 would've sure been nice. - Jonathunder, on 07/11/2009, -1/+2submitted 3 1/4 hours earlier
http://digg.com/baseball/Jonathan_Sanchez_throws_a ... - mikbunn, on 07/12/2009, -0/+1He wasn't telling you what a no-hitter is.
No hits, no runs - no-no. - harrisbradley, on 07/11/2009, -1/+2Submitted 3 minutes before that one, and 30 seconds after the game ended: http://digg.com/baseball/SF_Giants_Pitcher_Jonatha ...
Welcome to digg. It's like twitter in that it's worthless to post stuff, and mainly used for reading others posts. - harrisbradley, on 07/11/2009, -0/+1Wait, I thought this was the first no-no of the year: http://digg.com/baseball/SF_Giants_Pitcher_Jonatha ...
- HarborTwo, on 07/11/2009, -0/+0Always cool to see the no no's go down.
- troymccluresf, on 07/11/2009, -2/+1I passed on going to this game to see a jam band at the brewery. FML.
- inactive, on 07/11/2009, -2/+1I hate when people call a no-hitter a"no-no," it sounds gay.
- ProfessorRiffs, on 07/11/2009, -2/+1uh, ok. I wasn't questioning what a no-hitter was. I was saying that calling it a "no-no" makes it sounds like some kind of girlie-man *****.
- danmickla, on 07/11/2009, -2/+0Seriously. "No-no"? What are we, 18 months old?
- ProfessorRiffs, on 07/11/2009, -4/+1Nothing is more weak than the phrase "no no". It's a NO-HITTER!
Also.... *****' A, Sanchez. - Spire3660, on 07/11/2009, -13/+0I dont get why this is so special. If it wasnt for that save in the outfield he was boned. Nothing HE did at that point could change the outcome. SO why does the pitcher get all the glory for it?

What is Digg?
