- Paulish, on 06/12/2009, -4/+275Don't you just love it when human beings can put aside their various differences and chose a single target to hate?
- MargotCross, on 06/11/2009, -23/+271Boston fans do not mess around.
- BrandonJM, on 06/11/2009, -24/+240I'm a Yankees fan, and I'm digging this.
- subclavius, on 06/12/2009, -3/+182How about "You did Madonna". That's a lot worse.
- inactive, on 06/11/2009, -12/+175That is a brilliant chant! You can't hold it against them, those Boston fans have their moments.
- aLuckyStar, on 06/11/2009, -6/+125You can't blame people for speaking the truth...
- larrimer7, on 06/12/2009, -9/+105Haha. "These fans are special."
- enderschaos, on 06/12/2009, -4/+83I still love the Kobe chant from Celtics fans during the finals:
"NO MEANS NO!" - Nboy514, on 06/12/2009, -6/+70LETS GO EXPOS LETS GO
- omgbanana, on 06/12/2009, -5/+61You editing bastard. You originally wrote Sammy Sosa. Go to the corner. Also, find me a Red Sox fan who wasn't happy when Ramirez was traded.
- carguy84, on 06/12/2009, -3/+53You obviously have never been to Boston.
- Ribby18, on 06/12/2009, -4/+51Yes, we would.
- badwithcomputer, on 06/11/2009, -5/+49ducks heads? they do have those boat tours...
- RealmDown, on 06/11/2009, -4/+41In this case though, that doesn't make them wrong.
- stubear, on 06/12/2009, -1/+33They chanted "You did Jeter" at last night's game.
- doshindude, on 06/12/2009, -3/+32Winning 2 world series in the same 5 years isn't exactly a joke.
- LostOutEast, on 06/12/2009, -1/+28The Red Sox haven't lost to the Yankees yet this season. Record is 8-0 Sox. Who's the joke now?
- garyrobbins, on 06/12/2009, -2/+27I believe it was Shakespeare who said, "The Yankees suck." Or it might have been Ghandi. Or Mother Theresa. They'd all be right.
- lepetitmousse, on 06/12/2009, -1/+23they've chanted "like a virgin" before
- QreepyBORIS, on 06/12/2009, -7/+28Dane Cook sucks.
- sekots29, on 06/12/2009, -7/+28Burying you for being a Mets fan
- runtimmyc, on 06/12/2009, -5/+25The minimum suspension for using performance enhancing drugs should be two years. I can't believe the slap on the wrist these guys get when they get caught.
- inactive, on 06/12/2009, -3/+23I don't see how that makes your case. I realize many Yankees fans are mouth breathing waterheads, but I know a few that can at least back up their trash talk. 7 Championships and 12 Pennants is hardly something to be embarassed about. How large is the Yankees payroll? How many playoff series have they won lately?
That's what I thought. - zanzzz, on 06/12/2009, -1/+19Lots of inferences and speculation as to who took what substance when.
First a few facts.
MLB started testing for drugs in spring of 2003.
Manny Ramirez claimed to have been tested 30 times since 2004 before testing positive as a member of the Dodgers.
David Oritiz claimed that he has been tested 35 times for drugs, no positive results.
Ok, now the speculation. For anyone claiming the Red Sox Championships of 2004 & 2007 are somehow tainted based on zero evidence even though drug testing was in place should also consider The Yankee's rings of 96,98,99, and 00 tainted because there was no testing and steriods were rampant in the game at the time. Some estimates put 40% - 60% of the Yankees using performance enhancing drugs at the time. - nroose, on 06/12/2009, -19/+37That is a wide-screen video, shrunk width wise to 4x3, and then displayed on a wide-screen display with black on either side.
Seems to me like we could do better in 2009. I don't understand why any video software or device would change the aspect ratio. - jmewhite1, on 06/12/2009, -1/+18ok so thats one guy, arod, giambi, sheffield, clemens, petit ....... thats only the first few i could think of
- mrcoldcow, on 06/12/2009, -10/+27Serves him right

- ewethestuff, on 06/12/2009, -1/+17The best ever was when they started chanting "Just Say No!" at Darryl Strawberry. I will never forget it.
He hit a homerun around pesky's pole in that at bat, but still, it was a moral victory. - ddawggin, on 06/12/2009, -0/+15These spread like ripples in a river. A group of friends (usually drunk) will start it and if its good (and they are coherent) people around them will pick it up until the whole stadium is chanting it.
Or at least thats my experience. - lepetitmousse, on 06/12/2009, -3/+18boston has some of the best chants in baseball. they decided not to mess around with this one and just get to the point.
- winter360, on 06/12/2009, -5/+20*
- Ajajadude, on 06/12/2009, -0/+15Dodger fans go to games in order to partake in the 7th inning stretch.
- inactive, on 06/12/2009, -0/+14Lets go...away from Montreal.
Seriously, I see so many expos hats these days. Where were these people when the team needed financial support? - jawni, on 06/12/2009, -5/+18such a nerdy comment lol
- jmewhite1, on 06/12/2009, -3/+16explain? nice pun though
- inactive, on 06/12/2009, -0/+12He walked, actually.
- GoKings, on 06/12/2009, -1/+13The fertility drug is something used for masking steroids. There's no reason for him to use it for any other reason. There are plenty of other fertility drugs out there that don't have the masking effect. Any team doctor would have known this.
- chanop, on 06/12/2009, -2/+14Yankee fan here and can admit we're just as big of *****. The reason the rivalry is so bad is because both sides are *****.
- stubear, on 06/12/2009, -2/+14Sammy Sosa NEVER played for the Red Sox. He played most of his career in the NL for The Chicago Cubs but he did play in the AL for the White Sox (he started his career here), Rangers and Orioles. Why someone dugg you up is beyond me.
- LostOutEast, on 06/12/2009, -2/+13When it's A-rod? Yes =P
- davdev, on 06/12/2009, -1/+12If Manny ever plays in Boston again, Sox fans will boo with such an intensity that Fenway may in fact collapse.
He is hated around here. - jawni, on 06/12/2009, -0/+11walked...down to the steroids store
- topgigmedia, on 06/12/2009, -0/+10Manny never tested possitive in a Red Sox uniform. ARod put a standard on himself like no other player when he becasme the highest paid in the league. Suck it ARod fans - he is AFraud.
- Couchy, on 06/12/2009, -2/+12lol why is the Mets fan buried so much? Lets see how this works...
<- Blue Jays fan .... dugg - jax0047, on 06/12/2009, -1/+11Anything Recently?
This is why America hates Yankees fans. - decapitor, on 06/12/2009, -0/+10are you literally retarded?
- ASfinkterSezWut, on 06/12/2009, -0/+9A soggy sweep at Fenway
Down two runs in the eighth inning, the Red Sox launched a come-from-behind rally to go ahead 4-3 and complete a three-game sweep of the Yankees. Above, David Ortiz takes a curtain call following his second-inning solo shot. (AP)
Suck it fakingfamous! - inactive, on 06/12/2009, -1/+10I'd do Madonna.
