Brrrrrht! Wrong answer, wrong approach, wrong comment. Particularly for an older player with somewhat of a reputation as having a bad attitude. They should keep dropping the offer each time he rejects it, no one else is interested.

Yesterday it came out that Ned knew Jason Schmidt had a partially torn rotator cuff and he signed him anyway to that ridiculous deal. Now it comes out he's playing head games with Manny. I guess Manny doesn't meet Ned's requirements of old, busted, suck-ass ex-Giants.

Half the time he's giving it 50% in the field, but if he wanted to he could hit home plate from left field with pinpoint accuracy every time. He doesn't throw any rainbows either...always a line drive right in, better than most.

See, Manny... the funny thing about gas is that it works on a supply-and-mostly-demand basis. I don't have any loyalty to Mobil. They just have the cheapest gas at that particular intersection on that given day.
So I guess if you're okay with us "buying your gas" today, then you're going to be okay with us buying gas at some other gas station when yours is too expensive. Like, say, right now.

Manny could play another 5 years theoretically and he's a first ballot H.O.F. He's the new Bonds (sans steroids), can't field worth a crap, but he will knock the cover off the ball. I heard he might go to the Nationals. That would be awesome, because they suck and I'm a D-Backs fan.
