- NaviGATR, on 06/25/2009, -16/+101Please. Red Sox fans don't need help finding those bars.
- serif69, on 06/25/2009, -1/+45I'm not sure which group to pity more in this story: the Sox fans for being duped, or the Nats fans for being Nats fans.
- FirstCuts, on 06/25/2009, -1/+39Saying how much you love Big Papi probably took on a different meaning here.
- hybridcreation, on 06/25/2009, -2/+35Go to the other team's town, suffer the consequences. Dugg for originality.
- ghaltmann, on 06/25/2009, -1/+29As a long time Boston fan living near D.C. I want to like the nats, but when you go to their games, it's like watching fat little-leaguers forced to play by their nostalgic dads. They don't want to be there, they don't care when they mess up, and they don't hustle. I mean, at least TRY guys... it's sad. Take a que from the Tampa Rays: Those guys play their heart out and hustle and you know what? They kicked our asses last year and made it to the final series.
- NeilSarkar, on 06/25/2009, -0/+28Just get in a cab and ask for the Gothic Castle
- efreeman, on 06/25/2009, -4/+27New bar name: "Manny Being Manny"
- FirstCuts, on 06/25/2009, -0/+23"Manny Being Tranny"
- Goochman, on 06/25/2009, -1/+20Its short for "Incompetence on the Baseball Field"
- GutterBumber, on 06/25/2009, -0/+19That is a terrible trick to play.
Those gay people should never be forced to deal with Sox fans. - deeboe, on 06/25/2009, -3/+20The Washington Nationals
- kingofinternet, on 06/25/2009, -6/+22that's hospitable, they knew the sox fans would feel right at home.
- indubitably, on 06/25/2009, -4/+17it's short for natinals

- Whitecoolie, on 06/25/2009, -0/+12Are you sure he didn't mean "the dugout" which is an outside bar with live bands and cornhole? That place is awesome.
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -2/+11"Sure are a lot of guys in here.....weird."
- foofightrs777, on 06/25/2009, -1/+10I'm looking for the magic.
- sockpuppets, on 06/25/2009, -6/+14You.
I wanna take you to a gay bar.
I wanna take you to a gay bar.
I wanna take you to a gay bar, gay bar gay bar wooo. - icepick314, on 06/25/2009, -0/+8at least it wasn't Blue Oyster...
- modernsavage, on 06/25/2009, -2/+10What a ***** story! Big deal, some Nats forum user tricked ONE Red Sox fan into going to a gay bar... lame!
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -1/+8Oh word, thanks. Not up to speed on the baseball, but thought this was pretty awesome.
- wupike, on 06/25/2009, -0/+7I hope Fenway has a better bar scene... I mean it's been there since 1912. Nationals Park has only been open for 15 months.
- DjOverEZ, on 06/25/2009, -0/+6have

- seanstuart, on 06/25/2009, -0/+5Go try the Alamo over on Dillan Street. That's the Alamo, not the Amigo.
- implied, on 06/25/2009, -2/+7Gothic Arsehole, right mate.
- wdw25, on 07/06/2009, -0/+5It's not that "they will probably get raped" it is putting fans of the other team in a situation that they will not be comfortable with. Most straight men are not comfortable in a cowboy gay bar.

- harrisbradley, on 06/25/2009, -0/+4A little bit of vinegar, a little bit of baking soda...
- BriskT, on 06/25/2009, -1/+5probably referring to this
http://digg.com/baseball/Washington_Natinals_fail_ ... - inactive, on 06/25/2009, -1/+5going to a gay bar isn't a problem unless your going to meet women, if you just want to get ***** they work just like a regular bar. If you want to ***** with people after a ball game send them to a wine bar, yeah they'll love that *****.
- deeboe, on 06/25/2009, -2/+6Manny Banging Manny
- phike, on 06/25/2009, -0/+4I live in the Fenway area - a lot of decent bars within a block of the park (Cask n Flagon, Baseball Tavern, Game On, Bleacher Bar, Boston Beer Works)....there is also a gay bar in the same area that I'll recommend to some Nats fan in the future :P
- inactive, on 06/25/2009, -5/+8What are "Nats"?
- NYankee2003, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3i used to do that to the particularly obnoxious tourists on the metro

- pigeonmeister, on 06/25/2009, -3/+6Lame.
- sealink, on 06/25/2009, -0/+3Dugg for Electric Six.
- Jaq524, on 06/25/2009, -1/+3Uh, wouldn't that make them the "Nets"?
- ch3zyp00fs, on 06/25/2009, -1/+3I've made a huge mistake.
- Gr1nch, on 06/25/2009, -2/+4Not true. Its ***** fans like you that make the place terrible. We have zimmerman, we have johnson, we've just drafted two great pitchers. Its a new team that had no ownership/management whatsoever its first two years. We're in the midst of serious growing pains, no doubt, and I know its not fenway (there's only one fenway) but the nationals have a much better shot at winning the NL east than the orioles do of winning the AL east.
I went to last Saturday's game, versus the blue jays. I'll admit I was skeptical when we had the lead after 7, and then they gave it up. But at least they got it together and won it in the bottom of the 12th. They try when they get the shot, they're just barely above triple a teams right now and I don't look at them like they're a lost cause. It's the equivalent of looking at a 5'7 person and getting angry at them because they can't dunk like Nate Robinson or Spud Webb.
The problem is that baseball is a dying sport. It's the national past time that isn't getting passed down. I'm twenty, and no one I know in DC plays baseball, they all play lacrosse. This translates to no funding for the seats in the stadium and no funding for better players coming.
I can't sit here at my computer and let you trash the team, yeah, they suck. They're looking like they're going to be the worst team in the league for 2 years in a row. But don't let that become a stigma of the team. They're not the Pittsburgh Pirates or the KC royals, or even the Expo's. They're just getting started. they've got their stadium, their owners, they just need to find loyal fans now. Luckily the fans they do have aren't going to take the ***** that Baltimore gets at "fenway south" when the Sox come to town.
/DC pride rant. - floronicman, on 06/25/2009, -1/+3Great! Now im going to smell to high heaven like a tuna melt!
- eekfuh, on 06/25/2009, -9/+11Those Sox fans must of fit right in.
- wharpua, on 06/25/2009, -2/+3I didn't realize that the Nats had any fans
- 3tcp, on 06/26/2009, -2/+3Bah, what's the big deal? I'm sure those sox fans had a good time. Who are we to judge their lifestyle choices?
- surf1punk, on 06/25/2009, -0/+1With the exception of the "to" every word in the title was 3 or 4 letters long. Was tough to read for some reason.
