There was even a big story last year about how they wanted to shut down all free fantasy baseball sites because they claim that the league owns the rights to the players names and stats, and they wanted to be payed licensing fees for fantasy sports.
They put a good amount of content up on mlb.com, but it sucks that you can't just do whatever you want with clips of games without them sending C&D letters.

Considering there are other players out there who have been outed for Steroid use I would guess you are the one who does not know what he is talking about. Carlos Zambrano has NEVER been linked to steroid usage, so obviously his outburst has nothing to do with "roid rage."
Show me ONE piece of evidence that Zambrano has even been accused of steroid usage and I'll retract my statement. A hint, though; you're not going to find it.
While I don't like the Cubs, I respect the individual achievements of baseball players. Zambrano has achieved a good amount in his short career; all while being steroid free. Steroid usage is indeed a big problem in baseball, but not every single ballplayer is a juicer.

I for one am glad to see the ace of my favorite team get mad when things go wrong. At least he cares.
