What happens to a Tesla Electric Car battery when it's dead?

treehugger.com — Pretty cool to learn that these things contain no toxic materials. They could be landfilled, but that's not what actually happens.

  • eljewster, on 03/15/2008, -0/+0I had always believed that electric vehicle batteries were really bad in their end-life. I would still like to read more, but reading relatively good news like this does make me feel better about the future of electric cars
