- DigSomeMore, on 11/20/2008, -2/+42In the middle of a recession, this is the car that gets you the dirty looks...
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -4/+38The people who could afford these cars are more wealthy than ever.
- Thinkerofthings, on 11/21/2008, -1/+21dugg for the use of the word Opulent
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+18Coming to a rapper near you.
- GoKings, on 11/21/2008, -0/+17Top of the line stuff like this is recession proof. There will always be rich people in the market for this stuff.
- damack, on 11/20/2008, -2/+17All those people who said the economy was screwed and bought up silver a few years ago probably have a bunch of Bentleys right about now.
- jessestorm, on 11/21/2008, -0/+13It doesn't matter how ***** the economy is, the super-rich will still be super-rich. Bentley can still make cars like these because the market isn't shrinking.
- deadapostle, on 11/21/2008, -0/+13I'd like to have sex with that car.
- lolupissed, on 11/21/2008, -4/+16I could get some hoes in that thing
- oboshoe, on 11/21/2008, -3/+15I'd like to have sex in that car.
- wwnexc, on 11/21/2008, -1/+12Some people have to spend their bail out money on something...
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+10They'll rent it for their Cribs episode
- jer21, on 11/21/2008, -1/+11That's why there are 25 different leather interior to choose from.
- oboshoe, on 11/21/2008, -0/+10People who buy this, also have an Aston Martin.
Its not like they only get to pick one. - Surferess, on 11/20/2008, -2/+12Where I live this car gets you the right of way!
- ploop, on 11/21/2008, -2/+11If you have ten million and lose thirty percent, you can still afford a Bentley. If you have ten thousand and lose thirty percent, you're in trouble.
- borez, on 11/21/2008, -0/+9While you still can.
- deadmoo, on 11/21/2008, -0/+9During a recession the rich still get richer.
- ploop, on 11/21/2008, -1/+10I doubt it.
- slapded, on 11/21/2008, -0/+8yeah it gets crappy gas mileage too
/sarcasm - EarlOfLade, on 11/21/2008, -1/+9I guess it's time to trade in my old Jaguar S-type V4.2 for this beast... I guess the trade-in value of my Jag is enough to pay for the steering wheel...
- speel, on 11/21/2008, -0/+8Its a recession for the poor.
- breanna5, on 11/21/2008, -4/+11Why would it get dirty looks? If anything, at least there are people spending 350,000 $, into the economy. That salesman made some money, the dealership did, etc. The salesman then goes and blow $20,000 on lap dances at the local bar. So, now the strippers have $20,000 more to spend at the nail salon, the mall and going out to the bars, so the local bar owners get paid and the nail people just made enough to buy their kid an xbox 360 for xmas. That's econ 101. No, econ 1.
- Number23, on 11/21/2008, -0/+7Bentleys are a bit a bargain used. You can find low a mileage Arnage for less than $60K. Of course, there is the issue of maintenance and mpg in the low teens.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+7This car says, "Try to rob me and i will have my personal security playing hockey in your ass."
- jer21, on 11/21/2008, -1/+8A leper could get some hoes in that thing.
- darkism, on 11/21/2008, -0/+7During a recession the smart rich people get richer faster.
- MeatMountain, on 11/21/2008, -0/+6Like he said.....
- cawpin, on 11/21/2008, -1/+7I don't care. Bentley builds some mean machines. 5700 lbs and 0-60 in 5.2. That is ballsy.
- ConsolesSuck, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5Man, those Saudi car drifters are going to love this one!
- ImTheDuke, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5Repo'd from same rapper in one year
- borez, on 11/21/2008, -2/+7That's a thing of beauty, but I'd rather have an Aston Martin any day of the week.
- scabbers, on 11/21/2008, -3/+7Where do you think the $700 billion bailout money's going, numbnuts?
- MedicalMatt, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4how about ostentatious
- carbonfree314, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4Actually, she will.
Sincerely,
oboshoe's mom. - dimbulb771, on 11/21/2008, -1/+4The way I remember it that whole trickle down economics thing didn't really pan out
- freezerburn666, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3hey we need a bailout, hey thanks a lot guys u really helped us out, check out my new bentley!!
- bubba9999, on 11/21/2008, -1/+4Suck it, poor people!
- CrazedLeper, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3No, I couldn't. It's tougher than you'd think.
- EarlOfLade, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3How about the left side view mirror?
- clickwir, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3It's not like it's brand new, they've been working on it for years. Sure it's a bad time to release it, but if it's something that has been worked on for years, you don't sit on it.
- econoar, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2@ploop...he said the rich are wealthier "than ever". That's a huge difference than still being rich. That was the whole point of my post.
- fredrockbluff, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2you say its ridiculous with the economy and whatnot, but if you've ever driven a bentley and pushed the accelerator to the little button at the bottom and pressed it... its like fourteen simultaneous orgasms.
- CedEx, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2For these people, the Aston Martin is more of a Wednesday day of the week car. They have other cars for the remaining days of the week.
- FlashGit, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2It's okay, your mom won't catch you swearing on the internet.
- eggsovereasy, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2You have to see it in person to really appreciate it... these aren't cars they are works of art.
- PabloMac, on 11/21/2008, -1/+3And they didn't even thank us.
- ploop, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Not if it were alloyed with rhodium, which is the usual practice with outdoor silver.
- MisterEThoughts, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2Who the hell needs this car...
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2"If you have ten million and lose thirty percent, you can still afford a Bentley. If you have ten thousand and lose thirty percent, you're in trouble."
So how does losing 3 million dollars make you more wealthy than ever? -
