Virtual Speed Bumps Installed in Philadelphia: A good idea?

sodahead.com — Optical illusions will be painted onto city streets in the United States in an effort to slow traffic. The images will appear as 3D barriers to oncoming motorists, although the road is completely flat. The fake speed bumps are being installed at 100 junctions around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as part of a campaign against aggressive driving.
