- PrettyBoyFloyd, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2As the proud owner of a Honda Civic Hybrid, I'm a bit annoyed that my car wasn't included in this comparison, but it is very interesting to see how these models compared to each other. When I toured Europe in 2006, Smart cars were everywhere. They not only got great mileage two years ago when petrol cost 4 Euros/liter, it appeared that they were very easy to park and drive around through all those narrow Italian streets.
- bincoder, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1My old truck (a toyota) is rated officially to get 19 mpg. For me, it gets 28-31 mpg (both city numbers). I did nothing to it to make it get that mileage, its stock. I employ some 'hypermiling' methods, but only to a point, I still prefer to drive fast I just accelerate more slowly to get there and avoid the brake as much as I can without getting killed. So I now take any numbers dreamed up by the manufactures or government with several grains of salt. Payments are 0.00 per month, financing is also 0.00% interest. Can any automaker convince me to buy another car? Nope.
