Toyota Employees Taped Watching Porn In Customers Truck

consumerist.com — The first two times Jason brought his truck in to his local Toyota dealership for service, he noticed that someone had taken quarters from his change compartment. He complained both times, but was ignored. So the third time he brought his truck in, he placed a video camera on the passenger side. The dealership didn't ignore him this time.

The only people who ever saw that deck in my car worked at the dealership, they also happen to have my address on the work order.

  • deff, on 07/07/2009, -5/+278I use to have a pretty built SRT-4 (I really miss that car) and took it to a local tire shop to get new tires put on. While they were "working" I went to a grocery store near by to pick up something for dinner. On my walk back I hear my car running at full throttle. The douche bags were racing it up and down the alley way next to their shop.

    I walked up behind one of the guys that was standing and watching and said "Nice car, huh?". The idiot started to say something then realized it was me and waved the driver down. Needless to say I got the tires and work for free.

    After that incident, I started to turn the boost controller all the way down whenever I took it to any shop.

    Imagine having to go home and tell your wife that you got fired for licking pill dust and stealing a few quarters. It's amazing how dumb people can be.

    Seems that's how "justice" works these days. It's not the crook that goes to jail. It's the homeowner who hits the crook with a baseball bat to keep him from stealing his stuff.

While I certainly don't believe a customer should have to go to such lengths, I also don't trust a bunch of people I don't know with my valuables (the vehicle itself aside). If I get my car serviced, I leave only the spare key set with the dealer/mechanic, and don't leave anything of value in the car, not even my cheap sunglasses.
