- inactive, on 11/10/2008, -1/+12I wish I had enough money to become a real car collector and pass the miniature stage...
- lemonsomething, on 11/11/2008, -0/+6Did anyone else read the headline and think it was going to be about top 10 Thrill Rides ?
- serif69, on 11/11/2008, -1/+5Really? How much you want for 'em? I'll take a future classic that needs a little TLC for next to nothing.
- MarkusX, on 11/11/2008, -3/+7Nice line up.
But come on... the ZR1? Really? I believe there are plenty of other cars deserving that spot in "TOP 10". - MaLLiii, on 11/11/2008, -1/+4r8 looks way out of place in that group.
- ojasnet, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3i doubt it. you're probably thinking of nissan nx's.
- Eddiecoaster, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3The NSX was a very important car. The NSX's reliability forced Ferrari to step their game up.
- robotfriendly, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3Yeah that thumbnail of a car is really misleading! Oh, wait...
- wrestlingnrj, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3Count me in on that, I'll take em both
- TheHayze, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3I'm surprised the 2002tii didn't actually make it past the honorable mentions. The 2002tii was pretty much the inspiration to the 3 series, and the M3. Furthermore, it kinda begun the whole "sport sedan" market here in the States.
- Waynerz99, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3An article from Msn.com about cars? Lame.
- lemonsomething, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3Sorry. Digg's RSS feed doesn't have images.
- Trekhawk, on 11/11/2008, -1/+3Dugg for the AC Cobra.
- trollick, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Let me tell you something about my mother...
- karunes, on 11/11/2008, -1/+3No GT40?
Please.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_GT40 - inactive, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Uhm, what about my car, GT40?
- MSchumacher, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2The 959 was considered when it was unveiled to be the most technologically advanced automobile the world had ever seen. Many things supercars take for granted today like carbon/kevlar composites, advanced all wheel drive, sequential turbocharging, etc.
it may not be a beautiful E-Type but it was the pinnacle of technology to come. - cddict1, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1This is simply SUperb.......
- GhostRidr, on 11/13/2008, -0/+1Agreed! The Pantera is certainly more exciting than the NSX or any Corvette.
- JakePM, on 11/13/2008, -0/+1GREAT article. How about the E30 M3 though?
- fireblade1, on 11/13/2008, -0/+1hmm I would like some of those cars on http://www.dropacar.com but anyway great cars, still like Muscle cars better
- wrestlingnrj, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1Fair enough.
- motang, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Awesome list, I am happy that NSX made the list. One of my favorite exotic cars!
- dataslayer666, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1If the ZR1 is on the list, purely to include an American car, I would've chosen one of the following (or both) for the list:
> GT 40 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_GT40#History
> 1st generation Ford Mustang - http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1965-1966-ford-musta ... - Trekhawk, on 11/11/2008, -2/+3NSX? Exotic? Accord's have that much horsepower. I would remove the Honda before I remove the momentary 'Ring champ.
- BigglesPiP, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1You can't tell that it's an American site at all.
- serif69, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Halvesies?
- Eddiecoaster, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1I like the GTR, but... dead last.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZlGMX8G3B4 - bartofdahammer, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1haha i've meet the big guy before. his son was a friend of mine way back in the day
- robotfriendly, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1I can I can let it slide. This time. ;)
- foffs, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1wow so the GTR is honorable mention? wow ***** this list obviously you don't know wtf your talking about. A GTR will out run a corvette easily, and its predecessors the Skylines ( R32, R33, and R34) are some of the most tune-able cars on earth. ***** your list and ***** your couch!!!!!!!
- KingFirley, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Yeah I was hoping for rollercoasters. People still refer to their cars as rides? Anyway, what is the purpose of this article when there are no pictures. Thats like having an article "Top 10 Hottest Actresses" and not show pictures of them.
- switchmullet, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1did any1 else believe this to be about rollercoasters?
- Eddiecoaster, on 11/11/2008, -0/+120 years later, the 959 is still very relevant in terms of technology and performance. An instant classic.
- GoatMonkey2112, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1I would count the Shelby Cobra as being great because of it's American engine. Nobody would care about it otherwise.
- GoatMonkey2112, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1"Ferrari decided to build an all-new supercar that incorporated some of the racing technologies that made Michael Schumacher, the Italian stallion's F1 driver, a five-time world champion."
Seven. Seven-time world champion.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Schumacher
Edit: Maybe they mean after 2000 for Ferrari though. - weazal, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1How are there not pics for everyone of them? Is google images broken?
- GoatMonkey2112, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1It's a great car, but it doesn't belong on this list.
- Hadag2219, on 11/11/2008, -1/+1Buried for no Nissan Skyline R34 and replacing it with the GTR. Not that the GTR is a bad car, but the Skyline is just plain legendary.
- Eddiecoaster, on 11/11/2008, -1/+1Porsches have 4 seats, too.
- paulmer2003, on 11/11/2008, -1/+1Audi R8, NSX, Porsche 959?
This list is *****. What about the E-Type? Ferrari 250GTO? BMW E28 M5? BMW 2002? Ford Mustang? All of these cars revolutionized things...The Ford Mustang was pretty much THE first pony car. The first generation M5 really started the whole performance sedan class. The 2002, as others have mentioned, was the inspiration for the modern 3er...The E-Type's beautity has influenced countless cars design. Et cetera. The Cobra was just a dumb kit car, I really don't see what's so special... - inactive, on 11/11/2008, -1/+1She has teh AIDs
- jba68, on 11/11/2008, -5/+6a zr 1 made it, and a GT 40 didnt? FAIL
- opyner, on 11/25/2008, -0/+0I know. It's only the winningest race car in all of history or something like that.
- seanmx, on 11/11/2008, -2/+3R8. Gorgeous.
