- badqat, on 12/10/2008, -0/+47Any good criminal knows you steal the S Class.
- inactive, on 12/10/2008, -2/+46Aztec is more popular with thieves because the owners thank them.
- turtlegroove, on 12/10/2008, -2/+43shocking that nobody wants a Buick or a Ford Focus...

- rokusky, on 12/10/2008, -0/+28And yet the Prius is also on the list. Its a paradox. They are playing with your minds.
- johanrocks, on 12/10/2008, -0/+20From what I see, it seems like the big, expensive SUVs (Hummer, Escalade, etc.) are being stolen to be sold. Cheaper cars are not stolen (Beetle, Focus, etc.) After all, if a criminal steals a car, it's not like it's going to be their daily car. They're going to offload it somewhere and use that money to buy another car - so the more expensive, the better.
- Fracture98, on 12/10/2008, -0/+19She let you do her in the ass for buying her a Beetle?
- mattvander, on 12/10/2008, -2/+20those guys are what us straight people like to call "homosexuals"

- billbugger, on 12/10/2008, -0/+17Not anymore ;-)
- franklymister, on 12/10/2008, -0/+17How can a blog devote 100% of their attention to automobiles, and still not know how to spell Volkswagen?
- BESTenemy, on 12/10/2008, -3/+19Ford's new slogan: "Not even worth stealing".
- XxpokemasterxX, on 12/10/2008, -0/+15I involuntarily shudder whenever I pass one on the highway.
- conceptsti, on 12/10/2008, -2/+16The E class is just hard to steal it has an electronic key
the rest are just ugly
- AmyVernon, on 12/10/2008, -10/+22Note that a good many of these are SUVs - looks like the criminals are more fuel-conscious than many who purchase cars.
- lysdexic, on 12/10/2008, -0/+12Or to part it out. The Civic perennially tops the list of most stolen cars. The (mostly) untraceable parts are worth a lot of the black market because there are so many Civics out there.
- lancert, on 12/10/2008, -0/+12I leave the keys in my unlocked 1994 Dodge Grand Caravan (Sport Edition!) every night an no one wants it...
- terrible0ne, on 12/10/2008, -0/+11please please please take my Aztec
- remotehuman, on 12/10/2008, -0/+10the Subaru Forester turbo is fast, people that complain that its an ugly or not a mans car have certainly not driven one.
- chroko, on 12/10/2008, -0/+10People who own these cars don't live in *****, crime-ridden neighborhoods.
Some places anything that isn't welded down is stolen.. and everything else will be gone as soon as someone finds a larger pair of bolt-cutters. - BigManOnCampus, on 12/10/2008, -0/+10Except that on the list of most stolen cars:
http://www.autoblog.com/photos/top-ten-most-stolen ...
There are more SUV's/trucks than on this list. - andrewlotta, on 12/10/2008, -0/+9Nobody ever touches my Buick Park Avenue.

I'll let someone else comment on this. - mysn239, on 12/10/2008, -1/+10I'm stupid
- Ommatidia, on 12/10/2008, -0/+8Because, it's the "Top 10 Least Stolen Vehicles of 2008".
- strictnein, on 12/10/2008, -0/+8Subaru owners are approaching Prius owners on the smug scale.
- locondcoco, on 12/10/2008, -4/+12"Top Ten Vehicles No One Wants"
- skottles, on 12/10/2008, -2/+10They should change the title of this article to "the top 10 least desirable cars to own"
- Ch33t0, on 12/10/2008, -0/+8Even the car thief in their commercials returns the damn thing!
- Rally603, on 12/10/2008, -0/+8or to buy drugs
- diggface5000, on 12/10/2008, -0/+7I involuntarily think of tupperware and legos whenever I see one.
- drifter, on 12/10/2008, -0/+7There are many factors when it comes to cars being stolen. For instance, the main one would be, is it worthwhile to steal the vehicle.
Civic's and Camry's are the most stolen vehicles, due to the fact that criminals can then easily and quickly sell the parts and make some decent cash.
Where as if you steal a Ferrari, selling the parts is tough, due to the fact that not many people own a Ferrari and because you risk being caught with more expensive items. - inactive, on 12/10/2008, -0/+7There was no '82 Metro! This guy's a phoney!
- jasdf, on 12/10/2008, -0/+7No, that just means that it is more likely to be stolen since it isn't on the list.
- Phate8263, on 12/10/2008, -0/+7I really didn't notice any SUVs on the list? The all looked like station wagons (crossover in the new speak) to me.
- raptor87, on 12/10/2008, -0/+6who would have thought nobody steals ugly cars
- redleviathan69, on 12/10/2008, -0/+6I just googled that. and it would be amazing
- Ragarnok, on 12/10/2008, -0/+6Hey, that's where I go with my Ferrari when I don't feel like driving my Lamborghini!
- jsuther, on 12/10/2008, -0/+6The cars are not stolen for the car in general, they are stolen for the parts. A few years back when Toyota stopped making spare parts for the older Camrys the Camry shot up on the list. A lot of cars are less common than your typical civic or F150.
- raptor87, on 12/10/2008, -0/+5that's interesting are remote starters illegal in Texas? it would violate point #1
- Ommatidia, on 12/10/2008, -0/+5Most don't... that's why it's on the list.
- jasdf, on 12/10/2008, -0/+5I dugg it, that is like a triple negative or something like that.
- Modestexcuse, on 12/10/2008, -4/+9You couldn't give me a Prius.
- strictnein, on 12/10/2008, -0/+5# stolen per 1000 insured
- inactive, on 12/10/2008, -4/+9Nice, my '82 Metro is still safe (*doing hip thrusters*)!!!
I have been seeing a lot of guys driving a New Beetle now. - remotehuman, on 12/10/2008, -0/+4why would you have an Aztec?
