All my life, I have searched for a car that feels a certain way.
Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a Nerf ball.
Now, at last, I have found it. - leahcim, on 08/14/2008, -0/+16At least its a green vehicle.
- inactive, on 08/14/2008, -1/+15YES! I don't care how pointless this comment is, I must express my enthusiasm in every way possible!
- bezz, on 08/14/2008, -0/+12It's drinking the water! We'll make millions!

- ChaosProfessor, on 08/14/2008, -0/+9also quite useful in getting rid of Rhinos
- inactive, on 08/14/2008, -0/+9So... How do you get in? That door opens nothing.
- Jones82, on 08/14/2008, -1/+9It's not viable, haven't you seen the episode?
- aaronbrannt, on 08/14/2008, -0/+7racket peanut steering
- caldog101, on 08/14/2008, -1/+8I love the bubble domes, but does it have several horns that play "La Cucaracha?"
- IIDXBoss, on 08/14/2008, -0/+682,000 dollars?! This MONSTROSITY costs 82,000 dollars?!
- ballpencil, on 08/14/2008, -0/+5Maybe because metal stands through heat and rain better than rubber or foam or any elastic material?
- deeboe, on 08/14/2008, -0/+5Racket Peanut Steering I think.
- gummih, on 08/14/2008, -0/+4It needs speed-holes though.
- xtothepowerofx, on 08/14/2008, -0/+4whether you're driving near or far... powell makes a pow-pow-powerful car :)
- fishpen0, on 08/14/2008, -0/+4More magic.
- InfiniteNothing, on 08/14/2008, -0/+4No one made his brother use homer as a designer and not keep tabs on the process
- MrDo, on 08/14/2008, -1/+5I like that the reverse-hide-wheel design. (the rear wheel are free, while the front are hidden and unable to turn)
- pdizz, on 08/14/2008, -0/+4You know those balls on the antenna that help you pick your car out in the parking lot?
EVERY car should have those! - Thuktun, on 08/14/2008, -0/+4Who is that, Homer Griffin?
- bearcat8543, on 08/14/2008, -0/+4if you peak inbetween your plastic bumper and metal body, there is foam
- ChaosProfessor, on 08/14/2008, -1/+4i loved that episode. Bart is a lifetime member of the NRA because of Herb
- S1ngular1ty1, on 08/14/2008, -3/+6Nice, but is there a hybrid version ?
- TVarmy, on 08/14/2008, -1/+4Inspiration for the PT Cruiser.
I drive one, so I'm allowed to kick a crap car design when it's down. - MrDoug, on 08/14/2008, -0/+3Danny Devito is one of the all time best guests.
Isn't there supposed to be a doughnut attachment somewhere in there? - Nicklogan, on 08/14/2008, -2/+5probably gets better mileage than current cars.
- krumplicukor, on 08/14/2008, -0/+3I would totally drive one of those!
- inactive, on 08/14/2008, -3/+6ahhh when the simpsons were good...
- warsongs7, on 08/14/2008, -1/+4I would buy it.
- egoherodotus, on 08/14/2008, -0/+3You can never find a horn when you need one.
- jbmcb, on 08/14/2008, -0/+3Most rubber based foam degrades rather quickly in UV light, and, I think, the chemicals used to shield foam rubber from UV are incredibly toxic and/or expensive. It would also be really hard bonding something that's elastic to metal, given that the elastic material would contract and expand quickly with temperature, eventually ruining the bond.
Not to mention it would look as ugly as sin.
As another poster said, beneath most modern car bumpers these days is a block of styrofoam, which is cheap, lightweight, and absorbs impact pretty well. - inactive, on 08/14/2008, -0/+3I Always thought that car was kind of cool when I saw that episode. Now I can appreciate how ugly that sonnofabitch really is. Wow. It's so ugly it's beautiful.
/He really did Ruin his brother with this car. - zacharytelschow, on 08/14/2008, -1/+3In the edisode, I could have sworn they said this car has 18 cup holders.
- InfiniteNothing, on 08/14/2008, -0/+2Too rich for my blood
- SecretPact, on 08/14/2008, -1/+3Whether your driving near or far, Powell makes a Pow-pow-powerful car!
- JohnFlux, on 08/14/2008, -0/+2Who hasn't been a gadget hater? Can you honestly say that you haven't seen a product that fulfils 90% of what you require and you wished it just had one more feature to fully do what you want?
- edwartica, on 08/14/2008, -0/+2I want a cup holder here, here, here, here, and here.
- edwartica, on 08/14/2008, -0/+2You drive one? What possessed you to buy one of those ugly ***** bag cars?
- barbehque, on 08/14/2008, -0/+2"homer, you didn't ask for raquin pinion steering did you?"
