- MacTyler, on 07/05/2009, -0/+13The actual thing you want to see, pictures of all the cars:
http://www.forbes.com/2009/05/20/future-car-models ... - deadasdisco, on 07/05/2009, -4/+15i like pictures. not words. buried.
- ClevelandBrown, on 07/05/2009, -0/+4You know what'd be great? If in movie theatres, instead of showing video on the screen it was a large block of text describing what was happening in the scene. Everyone gets a button to indicate when they're done reading the paragraph - once all the patrons have pressed their button it moves on to the next scene page!
***** reading. - bdbr, on 07/05/2009, -0/+4There was a slideshow in there. Of course, if someone had linked to that, there would just be more bitching.
- inactive, on 07/05/2009, -0/+3Or maybe he said that because the title and description imply that we will be looking at a page full of pictures of new car models, when there was only 1...
- arunforce, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2***** that, their slideshows are worse, they suck balls. (FORBES)
- Wreckage, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Sigh, I still want a G8
RIP Pontiac. - potatonet, on 07/05/2009, -0/+25 dorra car for u
- Kerafyrm74, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Tesla plans to fund the production of the BlueStar (a sedan that will be priced at about 30k) using the profits generated from Model S sales. When that happens we'll likely see greater charging infrastructure coming out. I particularly like the idea of WiTricity charged pure-electric vehicles.
Personally, I'm buying a Model S soon after they release a sport version (0-60mph in under 5s) with all-wheel drive (need em for the winters up here). - ultimusgt, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1i dont take my automotive advice from msnbc
-_- - milomilomilo, on 07/05/2009, -2/+3The tesla is over $100,000. their sedan is projected to be $50,000-$75,000.
When tesla can produce 1 million vehicles at a price of around 25k than maybe they will deserve my attention.
Its the pathetic mpg standards that you should worry about. My cousin still has an old geo metro that gets 48mpg, and my 96' eclipse gets 31mpg.
35mpg as a goal is a spit in the face. - Triple5Soul, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1I am curious to see what the future holds for the auto industry...
- imacmike, on 07/05/2009, -1/+2The slide show mentions an all electric car that only has a 50 mile range, but fails to mention Tesla.
- Culyt, on 07/05/2009, -1/+2I envision the entire map covered with them, up until the time they launch...
- Philbert, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1Whew! Not one Nissan Cube in the bunch!
- Culyt, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1Yes, its the landing thats the problem.
- Gibletoid, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1My buddy I work with got one a few months ago. it's just the v6, but it's still a pretty rad car.
The demand for that car will likely ensure that it will be offered under the GM umbrella in another iteration.
When it was announced Pontiac was getting killed, he called the dealer to see if there was a V8 he could get his hands on, they said no, and offered to buy the car back.
He said 50,000. They said no. - inactive, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1I love how there was a single car. What the ***** is this...Burried.
- BoutDemCanes91, on 07/05/2009, -2/+2***** Alfa Romeos, real men drive 9mpg Hummers
- Philbert, on 07/05/2009, -1/+1You've got a few years to save.
- Liquid69, on 07/05/2009, -0/+0Alfa Romeo is making a model based on Doc Browns DeLorean.
- inactive, on 07/05/2009, -1/+1I don't have money to buy any of those.
- Culyt, on 07/05/2009, -1/+1"The exodus has begun."
- Kerafyrm74, on 07/05/2009, -2/+2Where's the Tesla Model S? This article has totally glossed over high-power pure-electric vehicles that people will actually buy.
- j0en, on 07/05/2009, -1/+1Do they fly?
- mysmartypants, on 07/05/2009, -0/+0Awesome! I can't wait until we all drive clown cars.
- GeneralBulldog, on 07/05/2009, -1/+0Well according to the list these automakers still don't get it. When people don't live in the city they commute on open road which means we need speed. For those that move around a lot whether due to being on the job or just because you have to move we need trucks and SUV's. There's no way in hell you're going to tell me that's going to get me from point A to B in the middle of January in Minnesota. Until automakers can make a car with good millage and some size then all these cars are just protoplasm before the real cars arrive.
- pinserz, on 07/04/2009, -2/+1why is there a picture of an alfa mito? that's been on sale in europe for ages, contrary to what the caption says
- ABlackDigger, on 07/05/2009, -1/+0Wait, it doesn't fly?
Buried. - inactive, on 07/04/2009, -5/+1Our future doesn't have cars in it... It has many arcologies tho.
- Presbyterian, on 07/05/2009, -9/+0Aww, too many words huh little one?.
