- BassMastr, on 03/29/2008, -0/+2Who cares about a car that runs on electricity when you can have one that runs on air...
http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/new_car ...- sega01, on 03/29/2008, -0/+1I think I would have a seizure looking at one of those in real life. Great concept, but horribly ugly.
- BassMastr, on 03/29/2008, -0/+3Couldn't agree more...
- billlyboobs34, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1You do realize the air car still needs the electrical grid.... it also goes too slow and has too short of range to be useful for an American.
- BassMastr, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1I disagree "68 mph and has a range of 125 miles" is perfect for city dwellers or a college student or anyone who doesn't travel very far in a day but despite our disagreement who cares if Americans don't drive them. What about the rest of the world? There are billions more drivers outside the US than in it and most of the world is starving for fuel and would love to have something that runs off air or solar. As for needing the power grid...I agree that does kinda suck, but i doubt it takes as much to power a air compressor as it does to charge a car battery. I also think at some point they will find a way to get the air compressor to work while the car runs kinda like an alternator. (I don't know much about that sort of thing but i know there are some damn smart people out there.) This is the very first air car and just like the first electric car sucked...there is def room for improvement here as well, but as more and more hit the market more and more companies will come up with competing technologies and then once the general public gets their hands on them they will find ways to modify and improve it. Don't be so short sighted...
- MacEnvy, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1Properly advanced pneumatic technology would usher in the era of real-life "steampunk". I could get behind that.

- db0255, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1mildly creative.
- louiebaur, on 03/30/2008, -1/+1Thats a pretty cool ad
- billlyboobs34, on 03/30/2008, -0/+1I wouldn't say it's surreal by any standard... it's just an ad.
