- whatupdoc18, on 01/29/2009, -4/+74Can't wait to see how it does in the hands of the Stig!
- rapier8, on 01/30/2009, -26/+82porsche has some lazy designers
"we need to make a new car"
"Let's add a bigger spoiler and put a slit in the side mirrors"
"genius!" - killahwhale, on 01/29/2009, -11/+66i am a sucker for anything porsche related.
- RagnabroK, on 01/30/2009, -6/+49Contrary to the poster above me, it's great to see Porsche can make a very modern looking car, yet retain its signature classic look.
- killahwhale, on 01/30/2009, -7/+46Lazy designers? The whole reason "Porsche" is "Porsche" is due to the history behind their vehicles. They really never seem to make the car look worse, and keep not only the history behind the vehicle, but the lifestyle and reputation of the company. If you come out with a great product and do nothing but improve it, you are the complete opposite of lazy.
Classy Porsche, Classy indeed. - AlaskaLoneWolf, on 01/29/2009, -5/+39Dugg for sheer boyhood fascination with all things Porsche. You had me at 959.
- absolutzombie, on 01/30/2009, -4/+22You're seriously basing reliability of an entire brand \ vehicle line off of a 1971 model?
- zacbro, on 01/30/2009, -2/+17I would not kick that car out of bed.
- RansomHoldiay, on 01/30/2009, -4/+18wow, and only for 112,200 big macs.
- Darkyuubi, on 01/30/2009, -4/+18God damn. Annnnnnd it still looks the same.
Every year. Porsche go "every panel on the car is new". So I don't understand why they don't make it look different. - raywatson, on 01/29/2009, -1/+13Hard to beat the look of a porsche though!
- SeanJuanAO, on 01/30/2009, -2/+14Watch the updated video.

Btw..some irony here http://i42.tinypic.com/o06jr5.jpg - inactive, on 01/30/2009, -0/+11Vettes are guy's cars. Porsches are gentleman's cars.
- glhughes, on 01/30/2009, -0/+10That's 435 hp out of a 3.8 l naturally-aspirated engine. That's 114 hp/l, it's a higher specific output than a Ferrari F430 engine, and it is pretty impressive.
- magic6435, on 01/30/2009, -0/+10Or you know people who have good jobs work hard and do not waste their money.
- rizzo2008, on 01/30/2009, -1/+10I think the clientele who buy this car dont care about fuel efficiency very much. Besides designing it to be an eco-box defeats the point of a performance car like this
- Gr00ver, on 01/30/2009, -4/+13..and out handle.
- 120decibel, on 01/30/2009, -0/+9Its hard to improve a perfect car....

- inactive, on 01/30/2009, -0/+8And, you get that famous Chevy build quality.
- euro22, on 01/30/2009, -0/+7Then how do you explain the Cayenne?
- K4Lic0, on 01/30/2009, -3/+10You've never driven a 911 have you? There is a reason they're still around.
- inactive, on 01/30/2009, -0/+7@euro22: It's a VW in disguise.
- inactive, on 01/30/2009, -0/+7I presently own a Porsche 911 and have had it 5 years. My next car will most likely be a Porsche.
- absolutzombie, on 01/30/2009, -1/+8Cloverleafs at 80 are quite entertaining.
- dracostimpy, on 01/30/2009, -3/+10That could sure feed a lotta starving Zimbabweans... nah ***** it.
- rileyhallwood, on 01/30/2009, -0/+7what the ***** did i just read?
- 1rage, on 01/30/2009, -1/+8I have a 1974 914. It is my first Porsche (first car too) and it will not be my last. I love my 914 but I would love to own a newer 911 one day.
- inactive, on 01/30/2009, -1/+7And let that be your experience.
"Porsche owners own two Porsche's in their life. There first Porsche; which is also their last Porsche."
We've owned Porsche's in our household for more than a decade and we've never come across a problem *knock on wood*. I'm not saying that it can never happen, what I'm saying is that your statement is...for yourself. - tgc1, on 01/30/2009, -1/+7Looks like the other ones. Yawn.
I like Porsches, more specifically the older models. But this one looks to have little to no innovation over previous models. Porsche seems to be putting out the same cake every year. - jah37066, on 01/30/2009, -0/+6more like cerebralspam
- elmuerte17, on 01/30/2009, -0/+6this one's only LWD... front and back on the left side only. brakes are included on the right for a nominal fee.
- extramince, on 01/30/2009, -2/+8You went to "collage"? What does that even mean?
- Vodd9, on 01/30/2009, -2/+8As usual, the strong efforts from the designers gave an absolutely original and outstanding result.
- MCGrunge1, on 01/30/2009, -0/+6That is precisely what makes the 911 one of the most beautiful cars in the world. It's aesthetically timeless.
- N00F, on 01/30/2009, -0/+5The similar body styling through the ages is one of the things that help keep the car's value as they get older. If you want a car that has a different look, go for a different model.
- suprxtragrav, on 01/30/2009, -1/+6Seriously, i don't even care that all the Porsche's look the same, as they say, don't fix it if it ain't broken. I do believe that it is the same reason all 911's are still inline and rear engined. Porsche has always been about the driving experience, more than anything else.
However i've always liked the body of the GT3 over all the other 911's. - oo7evan, on 01/30/2009, -4/+9Click on link.
Look at Sasha Grey in picture on page.
Watch video of Sasha Grey.
Google for "other" videos of Sasha Grey - shieshky, on 01/30/2009, -0/+5oh lookey here it looks the exact same as the last 50 911s. Porsche the most unimaginative designers in car history. the best lookin Porsche was the 944
- Ockniel, on 01/30/2009, -7/+12Why can't they design a car that looks different than the previous one? all porshes = exactly the same.
- inactive, on 01/30/2009, -0/+5RWD is preferred on racers.
- sdwilly, on 01/30/2009, -0/+5Just a quick correction, Porsche owns a majority stake in VW, not the other way around.
- inactive, on 01/30/2009, -0/+5lol - ..and goes past the 1/4 mile and goes around corners too.
- Schwa142, on 01/30/2009, -0/+5ummm, the cost is nearly the same...
- jackelopeus, on 01/30/2009, -1/+6Only the spelling seems to change...
- Schwa142, on 01/30/2009, -0/+5at 17/25 mpg, it gets better mileage than a ton of cars with half the power.
- dubdope, on 01/30/2009, -2/+6why are people acting so excited? it looks pretty much like every other porsche for the past 40 decades.
- inactive, on 01/30/2009, -1/+5Because apparently some men still have testicals.
