That way we get rid of the safety concerns, we get rid of the looks issues, and we get around peoples misconceptions. Because an electric Lexus is still a Lexus, and that seems to be about the only thing brand conscious dunderheads care about.

Coldest winter in for-*****-ever, ice caps grew out 3 weeks ahead of schedule and further than previous years, and nothing has changed in relation to CO2 levels. Guess that climate change crap is looking really thin.
They had a move called The Day without Mexicans or some such I want to see one called a Day without Hippies. In fact electric motors are a better solution than traditional motors as they provide max torque from moment one, leading to exceptional acceleration. As such if electric motors reach the mass market, provided that an efficient battery system has been invented they would soon outpace the best sports cars' performance of today and all that with zero emissions and unbelievable "fuel" efficiency. It would also mean that even cheap cars would be able of some astonishing feats by today's standards (0-60 in 5 secs in a sub-10000 automobile for example).
