An $18k mustang (if you can get one) has a V6 in it and no performance parts. A 50k Vette is the base vette and would kill the $18k mustang.
A valid comparison would be the FR500/cobra.
Both frankly are good for the money compared to other performance cars. The ZR1 comparable to cars twice the price. - randall814, on 07/15/2009, -2/+2We have a Ford F-350 Super Duty at my shop here on RAF Lakenheath, and it is currently in the shop getting a new A/C compressor, new brake master cylinder, new window motors in the front, and whatever part is smoking under the hood (we're not allowed to dive too deep into it, otherwise the vehicle maintenance flight gets super pissed and writes us up). Oh, it has 11,000 miles and the hardest thing it has ever done is pull a 100kW generator.
