- brad3378, on 09/26/2008, -0/+8Looks like the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V has a "detuned" 550 horsepower version of the same engine for a lot less money: $62,000 (est)

Who am I kidding though? I'd drool at either car. - JackpotCity, on 09/26/2008, -0/+2Those are both pretty sweet rides, but with the current fuel price I will not be putting in a bid on either. That said, guzzling gas has never looked so good!
- bstew22, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1those who buy the corvette can buy the gas. people don't buy a corvette for MPG.
take this argument to a ford focus submission. - bstew22, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1this car has power, relatively affordable as it has always been, but wtf happened to it's looks???? seriously? the front end looks all happy go lucky... NO, this is a ***** corvette, it's supposed to look badass. UGH.
- inactive, on 09/26/2008, -0/+1and the MPG?
There are way awesome sports cars that get great MPG, like a 350z for instance, at less than half the cost of a corvette. It may be a tad slower but who gives a *****, it's still fast, looks sexy and gets okay millage for a sports car. - makkaveli19, on 09/26/2008, -0/+1the most speed for your money is on the GTR and i don't even like Japanese cars as much. i've driving a z04 and there was no prestige and beauty to the drive. i've also sat in a f430's passenger side and i has the best time of my life.
