- Stemnin, on 08/08/2008, -0/+17Stingray on roids?
- Shogi, on 08/08/2008, -0/+13Gorgeous, I love the way the windshield and windows blend together.
- RealHyperX, on 08/08/2008, -1/+10too plain? are you ***** nuts?
google z06 in google images... - freezerburn666, on 08/07/2008, -0/+9thats a crazy windshield... but, are those side mirrors any use? it looks like they are an inch, if that. more like wings, maybe?
- mattnyc99, on 08/07/2008, -0/+8but what transformer will it turn into???
- Ravatar, on 08/08/2008, -2/+9WTF are you talking about, the ZR1 is an incredible machine. Unless 6.2-liter engine pushing 638 hp doesn't do it for you.

Yea, that looks really plain man, you have a great point.
/SARCASM. - iJessicaRabbit, on 08/08/2008, -2/+6That's probably one of the first vett body styles I really like. I like how it takes after the Stingray with its curves.
- Residents, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4Well hopefully this movie is as entertaining as the last. Whether or not you liked the acting or the cast, how they figured out the animation necessary for all the transforming to look so good is just mind boggling to me. I used to do 3D animation frequently and its quite time consuming. Obviously they have a large team but still its a job well done.
- inactive, on 08/07/2008, -1/+5what a sweet looking ride!
- Trifold, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4End...transforming robots? That is a bold campaign strategy.
- thedogfatherx, on 08/08/2008, -0/+4That's a hot car. I'd hit it.
- bemenaker, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3Now how am I supposed to walk to my meeting with a hard on?
- Jakyll, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3Its a concept, which means the actual production vehicle will only slightly resemble this version. In other words, the roof line will differ, as the interior will need to accommodate the one-in-ten overweight, retired male drivers who will think they need this vehicle but can barely climb into it, the side mirrors will have meet every D.O.T. standard, the hood lines will differ, as they will actually have to accommodate an engine, etc, etc, etc...
Don't get me wrong though, its a great looking concept. - RealHyperX, on 08/08/2008, -1/+4ok i see... GM's centennial.... I guess I have to RTFA
- jbmcb, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3What does it need, ground effects and a three level spoiler? More crap added on != better looking.
- SSUK, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3I'm guessing, a robot.
- toleshei, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3Sideswipe?
- VPurpmalkV, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3Like anybody actually went to a Transformers movie looking for an amazing story. If anything Micheal Bay was the perfect pick. I wanted to see my childhood toys come to life. And boy did they. As much as I hate Micheal Bay, at least he let teh CG team go wild and made the transformations awesome. I look forward to see what new transformers they bring in.
- jkoski, on 08/08/2008, -1/+4While I don't know that he is in fact an *****, I will agree that he's a Digg-whore.
- tehknotte, on 08/08/2008, -0/+3um i liked seeing Optimus Prime and his bots in "the real world" and it looked real so it is fun to see.
- The_Red_Monkey, on 08/07/2008, -6/+8I think the Corvette needs a radical make over like this to keep competing. It looks too plain now.
- knowitman, on 08/08/2008, -1/+3http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/GMCentennialDesig ...
Show me the hubcaps? I see 5 spoke rims with large brake rotors behind them. - RealHyperX, on 08/08/2008, -1/+3centennial would make it a 2053.... I call BS that they would make a concept so far ahead.
- waydee, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2That's the essence of a corvette.
- iJessicaRabbit, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2Practical corvette? ha
Built for speed and looks... not practicality... - onesidedsquare, on 08/08/2008, -0/+2put down the crack pipe please
- Mysk, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1....and it'll never, ever be sold. Concept cars are bull *****; complete wastes of time and money.
- cusoman, on 08/08/2008, -2/+3Do we really care if something is "exclusive" on Digg? I mean, it's not exclusive to Digg, so it's really inconsequential to the submission.
- Ravatar, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Buried for improper classification. Bury it as lame, don't ruin the spam classification.
- turbotom93, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Edgy!
- Ravatar, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Duggg for addition 'r' in buried.
- Opiate, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Merely buzzwords to front-page.. just like "breaking" a story you didn't break, not like this is live TV either..
- xomp, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1touche
- Ravatar, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1People who went to see Transformers (generally) didn't want character development or a deep plot. They wanted to see action. Hence Michael Bay.
Most of the time you can only pick one of the two done well. - Ravatar, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1I think you confused Bold with Corny.
The new ZR1 is bold. - Kelmon, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1The unfortunate thing is this is what is wrong with cinema today. For every Bourne Ultimatum there's 10 Transformers-alike where proper stunt work is given over to CGI. You don't need CGI to make a movie and I'd go as far as to say that CGI tends to ruin a film if you can tell its there. Unfortunately, this is what people pay to go and see these days and why a lot of movies, frankly, suck and they just make more. Heaven forbid that there's a good story or acting...
- potisreallygood, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Whats up with cardboard wheels? Anyway, it's just a concept to show off some new technologies that will be used the next gen such as the LED headlights.
- specialK16, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1lolwut
- rxbudian, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1I love the the design but the rear is damn butt ugly... where's the typical circular rear lights?
- spritom, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1Gambit.
*waits for the Marvel fans* - MrFurious2k, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1If I had the option, I'd take the starship. If that's unavailable, I'll take this.
- waydee, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1too bad?
- onesidedsquare, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1I was thinking either Sunstreaker or Tracks
- berkough, on 08/08/2008, -1/+2Haha... You gotta love the name though... if that were my online pseudonym I'd purposely go about using it in real life... Arbitrarily tacked onto my birth-name would be, "AKA: Mr. Baby Man".
- VPurpmalkV, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1You show me a stunt/prop team that can produce cars that can beleivably turn into 30-50 foot tall robots and I'll be first in line to see that movie. Not saying cgi doesn't has a place in the film industry is like saying that we shouldn't ever let actors use stunt doubles. And anyone that goes to a movie based on a 1980's childrens cartoon looking for character development and a deep story. May need to consider rethinking their choice of movies.
- inactive, on 08/07/2008, -8/+9A bankrupt transformer who lost his job to overseas competitors.
- britblogger, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1that's one gorgeous looking car.
