2) end tutorial! - Soniti, on 07/07/2009, -1/+38Holy.
*****.
*****. - TheBlueVulcan, on 07/07/2009, -2/+32GT5 looks great, but the cutting between in-game footage to real-life really demonstrated how far we have to go before we achieve true photo-realism.
Awesome car though. - adventureindia, on 07/06/2009, -1/+28This is beautiful...awesome
- jamdogg, on 07/07/2009, -0/+21There's no proof that the people in the video taking pictures were all even anywhere near the car.
- Shaggy6ster, on 07/07/2009, -3/+20If Jeremy Clarkson has taught me anything, it's that looks mean little when in comes to super-cars.
- walgman, on 07/07/2009, -1/+17Not a car company known for their supercars.
- fotoman607, on 07/07/2009, -0/+11I thought people would have learned by now to stop reading youtube comments. Sadly I find myself reading them sometimes too.
- Kbriggs, on 07/07/2009, -1/+11Did Sony just redefine the word 'exclusive'?
- IHeartNY, on 07/07/2009, -1/+10Citroen is a french car company; they drive on the right-hand side of the road in France.
- StolenLamp, on 07/07/2009, -0/+6Lol, you do have a point.
- nublet, on 07/07/2009, -1/+7that is ***** sick.
- CressCrowbits, on 07/07/2009, -0/+6If Jeremy Clarkson has taught me anything, it's that Jeremy Clarkson is a dick.
- freshgrease, on 07/07/2009, -1/+6One of my favorite exhaust notes on any car. If I heard that on the streets, I might ***** myself.
- antarctica7, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4It probably is quite 'screamy' at 5k rpm instead of 1k rpm as shown in the video.
- IHeartNY, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4After a little bit of research it appears Citroen won't be able to make the quad-electric motor powertrain like the concept in GT5 Prologue. They are instead opting to use a Ford or GM V8. They will make 6 of them priced at $1.8 million each.
- oep4, on 07/07/2009, -2/+6AWESOME car. but i would have loved to see more camera angles than just the front :\...
- Soniti, on 07/07/2009, -1/+5The Veyron is so played out, even keyboard cat won't touch one.
- Vivifyer, on 07/07/2009, -1/+5big lumpy V8 dosnt sound right in that car, needs something more screamy
- sgxyay, on 07/07/2009, -0/+4My world has been turned upside-down.
- ExoBit, on 07/07/2009, -1/+4It is. When the car decelerates, the engine generates energy that it sends to the fuel cell.
- DemDude, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3I know, I'd call it the digg syndrome. I find myself opening lots of submissions for the comments alone - there tend to be quite a few classics in here. And that's why I tend to read comments everywhere, and that's also why I tend to be terribly disappointed and/or find myself losing all faith in mankind.
- lofilotek, on 07/08/2009, -0/+3specs on the car:

Beautiful car! I still <3 the Bugatti Veyron. - stotty, on 07/07/2009, -1/+4"I think you misunderstood" ... "My question is why there is the obvious sound of an internal combustion engine in a car that is not supposed to have one."
You expected someone to get that from your first post? I think you're being a little critical of ExoBit, he/she merely agreed with you and went on to point out that it has regenerative breaking, something you went on to re-iterate. - jeriqo, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3They also make the C-Métisse, not really a supercar, but world's first diesel hybrid car, and nice looking too:

- xsboredom, on 07/07/2009, -1/+4i thought it was an electric car in the game?
- firebhaal, on 07/07/2009, -0/+3PRAY-STATION
- DemDude, on 07/07/2009, -3/+5Looks pretty damn amazing! Can't believe they actually built something like that, and a french company no less... Did the french have any real sports cars in the past 50 years?
On another note: I love how a bunch of retards are arguing in the youtube comments on how American cars offer such superior quality when compared to European or Japanese cars... You'd think people would have learned by now. - jasonh1234, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2Or how to spell "gear" or use an "edit" button or use spell check.
- IHeartNY, on 07/07/2009, -1/+3Isn't this car supposed to be powered by a fuel cell?
- CressCrowbits, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2But then you have a collision and wonder what the ***** they are thinking.
- StolenLamp, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2You don't understand the purpose of concept cars, do you?
- inactive, on 07/07/2009, -0/+21.8 million dollars beautiful.
http://www.egmcartech.com/index.php?s=Citroen+GT+C ... - IrvineKinneas50, on 07/07/2009, -0/+2It's incredible how much work is put into making GT realistic.
- StolenLamp, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1Now they're not superior, but Ford is making one hell of a comeback in style and quality. I'll give them that.
- IHeartNY, on 07/07/2009, -3/+4I think you misunderstood, this car has an _electric motor_ which is powered by the fuel cells. When you brake/decelerate the power from the motor that would be wasted is sent back to the fuel cell. My question is why there is the obvious sound of an internal combustion engine in a car that is not supposed to have one.
- Gnar04, on 07/07/2009, -1/+2RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RACEEEERRRR!!!!!
- StolenLamp, on 07/07/2009, -2/+3You are a tool, and subsequently can't spell the name of the company who sells the $1.5million super-car you would "rather" have. Enjoy your life in the tool-shed.
I'd take an Ariel Atom 500 V8, Caterham 7, Koenigsegg CCX, or a Pagani Zonda F over the Veyron any day. - IHeartNY, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1@stotty
The wording of the question has an obvious bias showing that I believed one thing to be true but now am questioning it due to this story. Perhaps I could have been clearer but I don't see it as that much of a leap. (There is a similar comment lower down by xsboredom). On your second point it seems we interpreted ExoBit's comment differently. The use of the word engine threw me, it may be because I wrote the comment at 3:45 AM or because most people do not usually refer to an electric motor as an engine. I thought the comment to mean an engine that charges the fuel cell similar to the Chevy Volt. That may have been a leap in logic on my part. But ExoBit replying to my comment with a random fact about the car does not make much sense either, it seems like something you would see in a Microsoft Bing commercial.
@ExoBit
If it was me that had the misunderstanding then I am sorry if my comment offended you. - Janv1er, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1Citroën*
- guv920, on 07/08/2009, -0/+1I may have missed it, what traffic was stopped?
- howdareyou, on 07/07/2009, -1/+2Unfortunately a car like that will mostly only impress other men, women generally don't appreciate flashy cars.
- Fmunkey, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1HowDareYou?!
- Dugular, on 07/07/2009, -0/+1There's this little tunnel, you see, that allows french drivers to easily make it to London. I don't suppose the driver should rip out his steering wheel and reattach it on the other side every time the journey is made? :)
- radix2, on 07/07/2009, -1/+1Yeah - thought that sound like a big lazy American V8. Not saying that there is anything wrong with that. Plenty of history in Europe doing just that. DeTomaso comes to mind, but also Jensen, Iso and a few others (lets not forget the AC Cobra, although slightly different in that case)
- threenuns, on 07/07/2009, -0/+0sounds like the car has only 1 geer... then again that would be typical for those concept cars :)
looks nice, still a long way to go to match up audis r8 though (in the sense of making a car that is usable for everyday life) - threenuns, on 07/12/2009, -0/+0oh my ***** god, its the spell-checking police...! Intelligent input, darling
the purpose of concept cars is to show something that looks incredibly cool but will never be possible to buy. then 2 years later they come out with that model, only to make it look like garbage in comparison to the concept car - shinepdx, on 07/07/2009, -1/+2I would rather have a Buggati Veyron personally
- Ibox, on 07/07/2009, -1/+1@ IheartNY,
Its a concept from a video game, they are not going to develop their own fuel cell for a concept car that will never be built. It prolly has a 6 cyllinder out of one of their street cars -
