- beforeapriori, on 01/29/2009, -1/+14I have never wanted a Bentley until I saw this beautiful Bentley that smells like McDonalds fries.
- MMusick, on 01/29/2009, -2/+13Another thing I can only own on Digg. Purdy, though.
- ironeus, on 01/30/2009, -1/+9That is more horsepower and lb-ft of torque than anybody needs. Wait a minute, I'm anybody: sign me up.
- pitchblack16, on 01/29/2009, -2/+8I love car!!
- ThinkBox, on 01/31/2009, -4/+7Yeah because Biofuels aren't a solution, just a PR distraction. THIS if not anything else is proof. Its a supercar.
- eddie72, on 01/31/2009, -0/+3Woot! I bet it will be a cheap $1,000,000 U.S. time to save up for a new car
- fwertz, on 01/31/2009, -1/+4Good way to save the environment, make products out of just about everyone's reach.
- feliks2, on 01/31/2009, -1/+3Its not really a supercar though, more of a really powerful GT.
- Ravenlark, on 01/31/2009, -1/+3Yours for only three easy payments of an arm, leg, and right testicle!
- Handonam, on 01/31/2009, -1/+3Is there any big downsides to using biofuel vs regular gas (performance wise)?
I'm also fearing that this fuel is not going to be as widely available as electricity. - Tekmazter, on 02/01/2009, -0/+2Does anyone know if this is going to STILL be a rebadged VW Phaeton?. Bentley doesn't make their own engines so I'm curious where Bentley is getting this thing from.
- immatellyouwhat, on 01/31/2009, -1/+3Good job Bentley! Making an Eco-friendly vehicle which no one can afford! : D
- palehorse864, on 01/31/2009, -1/+3Get James Bond to drive one in the next film.
- zaferk, on 01/31/2009, -0/+1If i could afford a Bently, i would not care about the fuel economy! Super ultra unleaded pls!
- feliks2, on 02/01/2009, -0/+1No not really.
- dsmx, on 01/31/2009, -0/+1yes the mpg is even worse.
- ronintetsuro, on 02/01/2009, -0/+1The whole article reeks of speculation. Buried.
- ThinkBox, on 01/31/2009, -0/+1When does fuel type "helps make it a super car" when the fuel isnt originally made for rockets?
"Supercars are more art than they are practical car." - Yes, but dont forget they are also more CAR than a practical car. More performance, more handling more engine....
"PR distractions also help to make cars become "supercars""
No, PR doesnt make your civic into a supercar. Nothing makes a car into a supercar besides itself.
Pedigree doesn't live on hype alone. And biofuels dont produce hype for a supercar. - mthomas, on 02/01/2009, -0/+1At least the left testicle will be put to more use.
- feliks2, on 01/31/2009, -0/+1"Supercars" aren't really defined by their fuel consumption. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't call a monster truck a supercar.
- ThinkBox, on 01/31/2009, -1/+1Oh, yeah, well that makes a world of a difference.
The gas millage between a Lambo and a Continental GT are just on the two opposite sides of the spectrum, right? - immatellyouwhat, on 01/31/2009, -1/+1I love taco!!
- Frixionburne, on 01/31/2009, -1/+1Well, the biofuel angle kind of helps make it a super car. Supercars are more art than they are practical car. Look at Spykers for a good example. You could impale your face on the steel hubbed, airbagless steering wheel and bleed out all over your beautiful hand finished leather interior. PR distractions also help to make cars become "supercars". See, its not neccesarily just the car that makes it. Certain companies, like Bentley, are awesome at inspiring hype through pedigree.
And on that bombshell..... I'd rather Bentley make a car with more of its old lines. I liked the straight angles and the almost pompous front end they used to have. - inactive, on 02/01/2009, -0/+0A "supercar" is a car that goes 0-60 in under 4 seconds and has a top speed of over 200 mph. So this will most likely be a supercar.
- inactive, on 01/31/2009, -2/+2Oh, i don't like it.
- syntaxgs, on 01/31/2009, -3/+2I Can,t see the picture becoseu the picture is to small =0
- Refrag, on 01/31/2009, -3/+2This just in! Ethanol and methanol can be used to produce more power.

Seriously, though, this has been out there for a while. And now Lotus & Jaguar are working to also improve fuel efficiency in bio-fueled engines.
