- geogeer, on 05/13/2008, -2/+3That beetle sucks, it doesn't have a stick... dumb automatics.
- stalefries, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4When your thrust is provided by a whole bunch of hot air blowing out the back of your car, and not the wheels pushing the ground, a transmission will do nothing.
- geogeer, on 05/13/2008, -0/+2Sorry, I thought the /Sarcasm at the end of the wasn't necessary... apparently I was wrong.

- stalefries, on 05/13/2008, -1/+11What's with all the question marks? It makes the article really hard to read.?
- randersontt, on 05/13/2008, -1/+1Where do you put the golf clubs?
- whiteknives, on 05/13/2008, -1/+4I can't help but smile when thinking about what the world would be if more engineers had too much time on their hands.
- geogeer, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1All thing considered, it is probably better we don't.
- duggtodeath, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3Jesus, what idiot designed that web page?
- myststrngr, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1It took me a minute to find the article amongst the ads...
- SpectralSounds, on 05/13/2008, -1/+1All of that information is great, but it lacks the good stuff. I want to see a video of it doing the 1/4 mile.
- quaxon, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3This guy may have a phd but i think he missed class when they were going over proper punctuation.
- garywoo, on 05/13/2008, -1/+9http://youtube.com/watch?v=5zNdkXwFQ3c It's LOUD!
Hack me if it's a RickRoll, here's my IP: 84.68.60.233- CouchTomato, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1lol. fsckin loud and smelly I'm sure.
- MaxMWood, on 05/13/2008, -1/+2I really dont believe that's street legal. You arn't allowed flames out of your exhausts because youll set someone on fire and this is just insane.
Then I saw:

***** is this legal. - MaxMWood, on 05/13/2008, -2/+1I can't decide whats cooler; a jet powered car or a car with a giant dildo sticking out of it?
- diizy, on 05/13/2008, -1/+2Good article, TERRIBLE website.
- chrisbosh123, on 05/13/2008, -2/+3Did that remind anyone of a penis....? No...? Alright... *gets back to corner*

- hansk, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3A engineer with too much money on his hands
- romistrub, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1Agruably, time = money
- diggB, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3A future Darwin award in the making ...
*****, I want one.- romistrub, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1He's an engineer... I don't think that an engineer engineering something that is potentially dangerous and getting killed qualifies for a Darwin Award.
- santiago1, on 05/14/2008, -1/+1 Link is down, but if this is the same guy, I remember reading someplace that he sometimes takes it out on highway 237 here in Milpitas in the early morning hours for test runs. That'd be cool to see, especially if you're not aware that he's coming!
- 22magnum, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1Could he of picked a more pathetic looking car to strap that monster to? A VW bug, Really?! The same car geek squad and barbie drives?
- Sawlid, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1One of my good buddies lives about 5 houses down from this dude, in Mountain View, California. He's been working on it since 2001 or maybe even before that.
The first time he started it up, it sounded like a jet was right over my buddy's house. We went outside to see WTF was going on, and there was a huge plume of exhaust, it almost filled up the street. It's a freakin sweet car, but the guy who built it is kind of an ***** - CouchTomato, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1that should keep the car clean..
