- archer104, on 02/01/2009, -1/+6That stretch of 93 is terrible. I used to drive it all the time. It's in the middle of nowhere and there are just two lanes, one going and one coming. So if you are stuck behind someone slow you gotta take your life into your hands and pass them before another car gets you head on, apply directly to forehead, HEAD ON APPLY DIRECTLY TO FOREHEAD!!!

Anyways, ya I hate that road. One time I got in a race with a truck who was being an ***** to some semis by passing them and then slowing down. I tried to pass him and he sped up and so we both floored it. It turned out that my governor was set just a little bit higher than his so I eventually passed him but it was crazy being in that oncoming traffic lane in the pitch black night at full speed. - inactive, on 02/01/2009, -0/+4Took me a second to figure out:

- Radan, on 02/01/2009, -1/+4Things like these really reminds you about how fragile one's else as safe life really is. A guy who lived in the same town as me was once just about to step out of a regular bus (the bus hadn't yet fully stopped, but had slowed down to a very slow speed) when a truck somehow managed to ram into the bus at full speed, killing the bus driver instantly and throwing the guy out of the bus and dragging him along several meters. He survived, but one full leg and his entire right arm got ripped right off him.

But when I first read this, I was thinking it was a tour bus for a band, and I immediately wondered which band was involved. There's been too much of that lately, with bands' tour buses wrecking and people getting hurt or killed, especially in the metal scene.

There was a horrific accident that had it shut down for an hour, maybe a mile past the dam on the Arizona side. On the way back into nevada, it was one of the darkest, most treacherous drives we'd been on in a long time... and we thought that being from Canada would have warmed us up to that sort of thing.
Heavy winds, single lane traffic, blind corners and windy roads really made that difficult.

Clothes, and cash was strewn everywhere in the wreckage when the police arrived on scene. the police for a few seconds were stunned and didn't recognize the little green pieces of paper because they were not in the form of plastic.
