  • NateDog, on 04/03/2008, -0/+2As an owner of both a non-hybrid SUV and a hybrid sedan, not sure I'm going to own up to being hypcritical ... more like an effort to make to make up for my past sinful decisions! That, and the fact that wehn I bought the SUV 6 years ago there weren't a whole lot of hybrid SUV options. Too defensive? lol

      To me, it's just funny when people have the SUV simply because they need something big. You know, for the three or four times a year they go to Home Depot.

  • NICU, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1Are the SUV owners better if they own 2 SUVs instead of the hybrid? This article is from 2006 by the way. Most families have 2 cars and they won't by 2 new cars in the same year. If your SUV is only 3-4 years old you're probably not ready to replace it. Get an up to date article or an article 5-6 years after hybrids are affordable before you judge anyone.
