- otto989, on 08/26/2008, -1/+3when nissan, then known as Datsun, released the first Fairlady Z in the US in 1969, it could outrun a Porsche from 0-60 in about 7-odd seconds, which was pretty good then, and definitely faster than a corvette. it also had a base price of $3500, which was less than that of the cheapest Porsche. pretty much all early models of the Z led not only its class in performance, but those of other high end sports cars as well.

- inactive, on 08/27/2008, -0/+1My 1990 Sentra was the most rugged car I've ever owned. Some rear ended me and totaled it after I put 190k miles on it, abd even though the trunk and rear bumper were trashed it drove well enough that a buddy of mine was able to put another 15k on it while working as a courier. Smoothest 4-cylinder engine ever. I can still recognize them by their farty sound when they pass me on the street.
Sentras started going to ***** around 1995 and now they suck total ass. I test drove a 2008 Altima V6, and although I liked the powertrain the interior was cheap and chintzy and the V6 requires ***** premium fuel while the Camry and Accord V6s run on regular. Nissan was offering all kinds of rebates and special financing on the Maxima, but the body panels don't fit together right and the chrome moulding oxidizes and looks like ***** after six months. Nissan needs to dump that piece of garbage and focus on making cars that compete with Honda and Toyota in terms of quality instead of just making engines that sound really cool. - Gullop, on 08/26/2008, -0/+1First thing I think is Christine (the film) and it's really pissed.
