- DatoeDakari, on 04/20/2008, -2/+2If it's good I will, I would just rather not watch a low quality version on Youtube. Youtube is for clips, not feature lengths; think of it as equivalent to going to see it at the theatre, if I watch a movie on the big screen and I enjoy it, I buy the DVD so I can watch it again
- cdahlkvist, on 04/20/2008, -1/+4Except when you go to the theater you pay to see the movie.
The guy posted a low quality version so you could see if you like it enough to purchase it.
Save your excuses. You're just a cheapskate thief. - DatoeDakari, on 04/20/2008, -2/+2No, I'm not a cheapskate, I'm just broke
- cdahlkvist, on 04/21/2008, -0/+1So that justifies theft how?

- had3l, on 04/19/2008, -0/+5You need the stamina of a bull, the mental constitution of a fakir and balls of steel to be able to watch the whole thing. It takes experimental to a whole new level.
- nmnnotmyname, on 04/19/2008, -0/+3You have a point, but I couldn't stop. No matter what I did, after 5 minutes in, there was no way in hell I was about to hit the close button...

- soloride, on 04/19/2008, -39/+18This film was made by a friend of mine. If you like video games then you might like the film. Its a lot better in the theater because you can see all the detail he put into the film. The film does divide people in to two camps. Either you hate it or you love it. Anybody that talks crap on it please make sure to leave a link to your film. Its amazing to me that he was able to make the film all by himself.
- apophenic, on 04/19/2008, -8/+67***** off, you don't need to make a film to dislike some other film.
- soloride, on 04/19/2008, -21/+12I stand corrected and I will go ***** off :) Gave you a thumbs up your comment gave me a chuckle. haha

- jaybol, on 04/19/2008, -1/+7more intelligent digg comments wow...it really is easy to deconstruct everyone rather than actually taking a risk and, oh say, submitting a story to digg yourself instead of bitching about everyone else's submissions.
- Versh, on 04/19/2008, -1/+8Well I don't hate it... but I think it would be better as a short film and not a stretched-thin pseudo-feature length. There are too many good sections spaced apart by almost-static imagery, as if the scenes are needlessly being drawn out as long as possible. I'd suggest another round of editing before submitting to the film & animation festival circuit-- it did wonders for my recent project. Scaling back "Ephemeron" to a solid 11 minutes did wonders for audience response.
- soloride, on 04/19/2008, -7/+4Nice to see an intelligent comment. I have to admit that my logic at four in the morning was not the sharpest. I don't think I deserved to be told ***** off and its great that his comment will be number one for this post. I guess I'm to blame for the cause of the comment.
- serend, on 04/19/2008, -3/+3why don't you not dig yourself in a deeper hole?

- oldhick, on 04/19/2008, -1/+2I'm not sure why it would be on Digg or YouTube for that matter if not to be discussed... The purpose of both tools is to promote the dissemination of information and then to discuss that information. Limiting the discussion serves no real purpose. With art, as well as Digg, you have to accept that some people will always have nothing better to say than "hated it."
- jxfallout, on 04/19/2008, -1/+5So wait, I can't criticize a movie until I release my own film first? Well *****, I guess my opinion that Epic Movie, Date Movie, and other similar films "sucked major ass and aren't even worth pirating" doesn't count!
- hello2usir, on 04/19/2008, -1/+7After 2 Girls 1 Cup, I didn't think it was possible to take the concept of a vomit-diarrhea cocktail turned feature length film any further, but your friend managed to pull it off. Bravo and kudos to him.
- soloride, on 04/19/2008, -1/+1haha awesome.
- rpgmaker, on 04/19/2008, -1/+2Dude, don't take the digg comments so seriously. Most of the commenters are talking without really watching the video anyways.

- InfinitySnatch, on 04/19/2008, -0/+4How do you make that backwards and upside down L?
- aTriangulumRoom, on 04/19/2008, -0/+6this could be a problem for those 'videos watched' whores
- MyDiggIsBig, on 04/19/2008, -2/+2do you mean those who collect ticket stubs of every movie watched? if thats the case then yes, it is a problem for me.
- Ockniel, on 04/19/2008, -0/+4This movie was weird, I didn't bother actually watching the video, but I did leave it playing in the background, because the sound was really neat.
- mystdragon333, on 04/19/2008, -3/+8It's a shame that it's too long for almost everybody to want to watch it.
- Disease, on 04/19/2008, -2/+9If you have the attention span of a 6 year old. The pain is more in watching it at YouTube quality. 88 minutes of a compressed video at 320x240 is just too much.
- over900000, on 04/19/2008, -3/+37How the ***** you do upload such long videos.
- dougbarrett, on 04/19/2008, -0/+22Youtube has a 1 GB file limit now.
- vietzon, on 04/19/2008, -0/+2but it says: "Your video is limited to 10 minutes and 1024 MB."
wtf?- pigducksheep, on 04/19/2008, -0/+7You can get a longer account sometimes if you ask nicely.
- fxu1989, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1If you are some type of producer, animator, "vblog" whore, etc etc, you can ask for them to extend the limit file size.
- vietzon, on 04/19/2008, -0/+2but it says: "Your video is limited to 10 minutes and 1024 MB."
- dudefaceguyman, on 04/19/2008, -0/+2Directors get to upload longer movies.
- Dunhamzzz, on 04/19/2008, -1/+1I should imagine if you win multiple awards, youtube will pay you to host your video.
- Princeamor, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1They would just upload it themselves under a different user name if they wanted the video on the page...
- theRIAA, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1HOW LONG IS IT?!
stupid youtube

- ekravchenko, on 04/19/2008, -7/+41I've watched the first 10 minutes and it's pretty crappy imho...
- triont, on 04/20/2008, -0/+3You have to give it a hell of a lot more than 10 minutes.
- MrAction408, on 04/19/2008, -10/+39I'm not hating. BUT, this is the ***** movie EVAR. The animation is lame. The script is extra lame. I never fall asleep in movies. I fell asleep in this one when I saw it at CINEQUEST in San Jose last year.
- MyDiggIsBig, on 04/19/2008, -0/+2san hoooo!!
- luke16, on 04/19/2008, -6/+1124 minutes in, im liking it.
- Teh_Shiz, on 04/19/2008, -2/+2When did you start liking it?
- ZenMojo, on 04/21/2008, -0/+1I tried to watch it last year and I could never sit through it. I'll try again.
- panpizza15, on 04/19/2008, -12/+2Some of the best visuals in the movie I've seen in a long time.
- sixsidepentagon, on 04/19/2008, -2/+1IF this pales movies like Transformers, then I want to know what the hell this guy has in his basement.
- panpizza15, on 04/19/2008, -2/+2Transformers looked good in a technical special effects, but when has there been a movie art style that you can't turn away from like this, the only ones I can think of are the Tim Burton stop motion films.

- shieldsmw, on 04/19/2008, -1/+10what does "full featured" mean?
- VibhuC812, on 04/19/2008, -2/+4Being able to see it is one feature, being able to hear it is the second feature. By extension, a full featured movie allows you to do both.
- mohmar, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1Just guessing...I think he meant 'feature-length' instead
- TrevorBelmont, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1It has pictures AND sound. To top it off, it moves!
- illusionweaver, on 04/19/2008, -9/+0Reminds me a bit of Donnie Darko.
- Fragowell, on 04/19/2008, -7/+2In that it kinda sucks?
- InsanePenguin08, on 04/19/2008, -1/+28I wish I could like this. I'm not. At all. The writing is terrible, and I'm bored while watching. It shouldn't feel like a chore, but it does.
- Sakumi, on 04/19/2008, -4/+31Looks like Hot Topic threw up onto a YouTube video... uck
- Duncan3, on 04/19/2008, -1/+1Holy crap, Youtube figured out how to make clips longer then 10 minutes?
- Jibberwalk, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1YouTube has always had clips longer than 10 minutes. In fact, at the start, everyone was free to upload clips that were as long as they wanted. YouTube then instated the 10 minute limit to the general user base to (assumably) prevent piracy of entire episodes. YouTube used to be the go to place for the episode of Family Guy you missed. While they instated the limit of 10 minutes, there have always been clips over 10 minutes via Director/Producer accounts.
- hellotherapist, on 04/25/2008, -0/+0Sorry but I'd never consider watching a full movie in Youtube, especially this suckfest!
- xjonnyx134, on 04/19/2008, -1/+10Beware I live.
- thredden, on 04/19/2008, -0/+6did anyone else notice the super mario clouds/bushes in the background? ever since that one comic... sad day...
- shownoregrets, on 04/19/2008, -0/+18It's not that i don't like it, it's just that i have no idea what the ***** is going on.
- serend, on 04/19/2008, -0/+4i suggest putting a x264 and xvid torrent up on the bay.. youtube does no movie justice in regards to quality.

Torrent link - Edrick, on 04/19/2008, -3/+14I can watch boring. I've watched 2001: A Space Odyssey, more than once even! I can watch bizarre and somewhat incoherent, I've seen half of Paprika. But boring and incoherent? No. No no no.
- bfchickenchaser, on 04/20/2008, -0/+4PAPRIKA WAS THE *****! I LOVE THAT MOVIE!
- marcoabuso, on 04/19/2008, -1/+1that was insane...
- kornwin, on 04/19/2008, -4/+3I know a lot of high school kids who could truly appreciate this movie if they were on acid. Being an art fag, I kind of like it.. pretty trippy.
- [WWX]ACE, on 04/19/2008, -10/+3I would expect nothing less from a talentless nerd like this one. The creator has no concept of how to tell a story and he has the balls to tell you to watch his how to films. And you cannot say that he used his artistic discretion to make something strange that would be considered art. There is a line and he crossed it. I am tired of people hiding behind the work and saying it art. When you cannot animate, draw, tell a story,or write, you are making crap and that is not art. Do not piss on me and tell me its raining. Everybody needs to wake up and smell the piss.
- TrevorBelmont, on 04/20/2008, -0/+3Hey man. I couldn't sit through it. The pacing is all f'ed up. Four minutes of voice over with still images is no way to start a movie. The voice acting is dodgey. The whole thing felt strange for the sake of strange while offering little more. Not good.
That said, calling it's creator a"no talent nerd" is totally unacceptable and totally inaccurate. It took a *****-load of talent to cook up this thing that neither one of us enjoyed. It was dripping with visual style and took every risk it could. You acted like it was a tape of this guy ***** your mom titled "Shakespeare!" Your attitude and opinion are vulgar embarrassments.

- amneosis, on 04/19/2008, -2/+13Subtitles kill what is already a piece of *****.
- Dunhamzzz, on 04/19/2008, -0/+15Indeed, why does the engligh version have english subtitles? *facepalm*
- juliandunbar11, on 04/19/2008, -1/+2..for the deaf people who use youtube a lot? LOL.
- Bersy, on 04/20/2008, -0/+5And not even accurate ones. I said ***** it when the character was saying "you're" and the sub said "your"... and they don't understand the concept of cutting it into smaller lines, they try to smush a huge paragraph into the screen for 30 seconds of dialog, so some lines they even cut out. Laughable.
- Dunhamzzz, on 04/19/2008, -0/+15Indeed, why does the engligh version have english subtitles? *facepalm*
- levonclark, on 04/19/2008, -1/+3Fix the quality by adding &fmt=18 at the end of the URL.

- BlindIrishman, on 04/19/2008, -0/+7This movie was also released on stage6...WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE US
- ribo, on 04/19/2008, -0/+1You mean full, feature movie?
- Ghoztt, on 04/19/2008, -6/+3Loved it. Not perfect, but very fresh and definitely ART!
- InfinitySnatch, on 04/19/2008, -1/+4Caps lock ART is serious business.
- Sunsneezer, on 04/19/2008, -0/+1It's somewhat interesting visually and I still admire all the hard work put into this but man is this movie an ordeal. I saw the whole thing at the Fantasia festival last summer and as much as I can appreciate different movies I couldn't get into that one.
- ribo, on 04/19/2008, -4/+4This was like Eraserhead, but not meaningful in any way. Plus video game references. Since when are references art?
Snore. - chunkymook, on 04/19/2008, -0/+5i watched around half an hour of it.. and im completely indifferent
i didnt want to stop watching, but i didnt want to keep watching either

- bucketofeels, on 04/19/2008, -4/+1What a load of *****, its like a bad art student film from 1989 thats been stretched out to over an hour in length. Garbage.
- xkingADROCKx, on 04/20/2008, -0/+2YOUTUBE CAT IS PIXELATED.
- Xyber411, on 04/20/2008, -3/+1OOOOkay, i think someone needs to put this movies time wasted into perspective:
At the time of my viewing, there were 236,432. That am mounts to about 346767 hours of wasted time... That's about 43346 8 hour work days, that's 166.7 YEARS of time that could have gone to something more productive than watching this movie...
Yes, I think that it makes everyone think a little... I understand the movie was supposed to be a little commentary and a little story. I understand it was basically done on NO budget. I understand that with those lackings, it can't be expected to be great... I think they DID do GREAT all things considered... but to be over an hour long seems to be a waste of time. They should have taken a note from the movie studios and shortened it. There's NO reason to waste so many people's time for something that could have been condensed into around 30 minutes from 88. Give Youtube the condensed version... The Internet is full of people who want quick information without having to waste any time... Sell the full version... Those willing to pay for it will be more likely to sit through the whole thing.
