Note to the Entertainment industry: Please can you stop ***** with my entertainment. - yocouchdigga, on 06/16/2009, -3/+23homin' pigeons kept me out the pen, son. *****'s real.
- removesstains, on 06/16/2009, -0/+12How come this was never on The Wire?
- borez, on 06/16/2009, -1/+7Errr... they're called homing pigeons for a reason you know.
- MonoDede, on 06/16/2009, -0/+6It actually was. They never actually raced, but the show hinted that Prop Joe was into it. If you remember he kept a coop in some rooftop and they had a scene where he spoke with Marlo there. Also, remember in season 4 when the kids were looking for a white "*****" (homer) pigeon, talking about how much money they'd get for it? Those homers they were trying to sell were for racing in Baltimore.
- benboomer, on 06/16/2009, -0/+5I can't wait until I'm downtown next -- gonna get me some racers!! :D
- ltethe, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4Makes me want to take up urban falconing. Nothing like unleashing a raptor into a flock of pigeons to increase the excitement.
- Arseny89, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4I personally found it more interesting than half the ***** movie lists that make it to the front page.
- Hodor, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4just like in Ghost Dog, Way of the Samurai.
sorta - harrythe3rd, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4CurrentTV airs some cool stuff.
- canolde, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4Pigeon racing on the wire? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
- had3l, on 06/16/2009, -0/+3Yeah dude, Pigeon racing is awesome! Been two years since I raced, but I keep my pigeons locked away in a drawer in case I ever want to race them again.

- ViperX116, on 06/16/2009, -0/+3Is this why Marlo kept all those pigeons?
- ClatterSquared, on 06/16/2009, -0/+3My dad's been racing pigeons for over 40 years, he's 53 now. Once I settle down I'll probably follow.
- halfprice06, on 06/17/2009, -0/+3"i was a gang member, gang bangin..... but toast, he told me about racing homing's"
- CoD4, on 06/16/2009, -2/+4You should really get out of iran
- boozedrinker, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2We live rurally, but my dad raises and races them...it's an interesting sport, and you can make some DAMN GOOD money off of it. He's been doing it for years....a lot of people are amazed when you tell them about it and how it works.
- robdip, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2I wasn't sure if this was funny. But the title intrigued me to watch
- Aliwalla, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2thanks man! i have to agree, by putting on ***** border restrictions they're actually screwing themselves over. I can't wait for the copyright generation to just ***** off.
- silentpl, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2Quick, we need a substitute for Youtube! This is getting completely ***** up. It's pigeon racing FFS. What does it have to do with borders and international copyright restrictions?
Ugh, ***** you YT.

There's nothing that should be copyrighted in that video. Some black blokes touching pigeons and talk about breeding them and chipping them with RFID. FFS, fascist corporate america.
To think that's it's made by VC2 (viewer created content)... - macl, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1This sport is still practised in some areas of Spain. Cool video.
- mrZango, on 06/17/2009, -0/+150 miles?? how would you know if a pigeon cheats?

- chaos7, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1i don't like any "sport" that involves animals. if you wanna play a sport, play it yourself.
- nrox653, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1HOW IS BABBY FORMED>>?
- BugMeNot2, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1It makes me sleepy when I watch it on TV, though.

- boozedrinker, on 06/19/2009, -0/+1I probably won't race them, but I do see how it is a dying sport. Cheers man, have fun!
- Trick07, on 06/17/2009, -0/+1This is cool... gives some ex-gang bangers something to do and care for. The pigeon's won't survive without care... I hope they can continue this without interference from the trouble makers
- ancientdinko, on 06/17/2009, -1/+1well they'd probably have nick names like Sosa or Rodriguez
...and they'd make awesome hot wings! - fish93, on 06/16/2009, -2/+1Everyone put your stocks in the National Pidgeon Racing Association.

- chaos7, on 06/16/2009, -12/+2what if some of the birds get lost, can't find their way home, then can't survive on their own..since they grew up being cared for.
