Typing: One Space or Two between Sentences?

revrob.com — ...That is the question. Which is nobler? Technically, whether a single or a double space is used following the final punctuation in each sentence, it is correct; however, one method is antiquated, unnecessary, and even troublesome at times.

  • Neiby, on 07/27/2008, -0/+2A couple of years ago, someone pointed out to me that I double-spaced after periods and that, in her opinion, this was no longer the proper way to do it. I stopped doing it and I now agree that a single space looks better than two.
