- slide2k, on 09/07/2008, -0/+6When humankind finally figures out how to destroy cancer cells once and for all, THAT will be beautiful.

- GlassAgate, on 09/08/2008, -0/+1But what causes cancer? What is cancer? Is cancer
ultimately a bad thing? - GlassAgate, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1Perhaps we'll never destroy them, but learn how to keep them in check.
- QuestVR, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1This is the epitome of "It's all fun and games until it happens to you."
- wpyh, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1... she thinks that ... sperm ... are visually arresting.
Wow. - t4stringer, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1hmmm this is kind of twisted...
- QuestVR, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1I'd like to visually arrest her in the eye.
- Metasquares, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1If cancer ceases to be a clinically significant disease, that will be sufficient for me.
I think preventing them from arising in the first place might be easier. - leighbaby, on 09/08/2008, -0/+0most things in this sweet world are pretty when taken out of context and photographed close up. i think it's a pretty cheap way to get your art on.
- Metasquares, on 09/07/2008, -1/+1Cancer cells are not part of the human body. They are anomalies - reversions of cells that should have had a benefit for the organism into a primitive state incompatible with multicellularity.
To give you just how out-of-place this is, let's take a computer program. When there is a bug in your program, the program stops running, or does not run in the first place. It does not suddenly begin replicating and overwriting critical files. That takes deliberate, malicious programming; the sort we usually associate with computer viruses.
I don't understand why it should be any different for cells. - vngu2547, on 09/07/2008, -1/+0No matter how morbid turning cancer into something positive is, you can't deny that these images have artistic value.
