- missjb, on 05/25/2009, -0/+22Easy Bake Oven. I had one and although I never cooked my fingers off, I always knew it wanted my finger... bad
- thenoxx, on 05/25/2009, -1/+15"the beef was recalled not because of contamination, but because of a violation. Sure, they processed cattle that couldn’t walk amidst allegations of animal cruelty that included simulating drowning and pushing the cows with a forklift, but at least the meat was safe."
Then why the ***** was it recalled? Stop the practices, but don't waste 143 million pounds of food! ***** hell, PETA people are dumber than a bag of hammers. - sdrawkcabton88, on 05/25/2009, -0/+13Digg: the wrong place to question your existence.

- jiesa, on 05/25/2009, -0/+9Lawn darts weren't recalled, per se, but made illegal to sell in the United States and Canada...
- earthceltic, on 05/25/2009, -2/+9Three pages for ten item blurbs? ***** you.
- Genobeam, on 05/25/2009, -0/+6Grammar is important.
- kindablue, on 05/25/2009, -0/+5I got hung up on the same one. Kids under three can choke on anything they can put in their mouths, I don't know why these were special. That's why they have special kids meals for that age (although it occurs to me now that by having that option, some parents are giving their 18-month old Burger king. Yikes)
- MazeBot, on 05/25/2009, -0/+5#3 Burger King Pokeballs
only thing that i can think that having the pokeball with the toy was trouble, is that the toy falls out the pokeball into the fries, then into kiddis wind pipe. Article is very vage on some of these. As for this point, it seams to be stating that the pokeball is at cause, or im the only one not reading it right? maybe that put the food inside the pokeball along with the toy and like its the pets food, and you open it up and thers your fries, eat away, oh and there a toy inside. that would make great marketing looking back at that. - VacantThoughts, on 05/25/2009, -0/+4I'll take some injustices to ensure some jackass doesn't plant a metal dart in my head.
- votingprawn, on 05/25/2009, -0/+4"The recall was spurned by the discovery that all the “Made in China” products were packed with copious amounts of lead paint and other toxic chemicals."
Spurned? Is there a part of the story I'm missing (/not reading properly) or have they just picked a random word to use? - tj_walker, on 05/25/2009, -1/+5Lawn Darts were just made illegal in America. More proof that Americans are told how to live their lives by their government and they smile while they do so. Though, many of you will tell you differently on a day like Memorial Day.
= : )K - inactive, on 05/25/2009, -0/+4"Just made" as in 1988?
- TomGfromCanada, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3not so crazy.
- lepetitmousse, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3came here to say the same thing.
oh how i loved lawn darts. - RoughCoffee, on 05/25/2009, -1/+4the "pokeballs" were only 2 or so inches in size, so i think the problem was with asphyxiation on the ball itself?
- DreamVsPs2, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3they also recall soccer goal nets
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?story ... - mikemehak, on 05/25/2009, -0/+3I would have like to see Maple Leaf foods. They actually killed several people with their toxic meats.
- Gyga, on 05/25/2009, -2/+4Who said they screwed up, maybe they want us to get lead poisoning!
/conspiracy - Gravey9, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2well good thing that conspiracy is over, moving on.
- CommonSense2k8, on 05/25/2009, -7/+9Thanks!
AskMen.com is NewsCorp, so each visit to there page helps out that evil company. - darthweder, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Duh, there was tractor on the beef.
- duzey, on 05/25/2009, -1/+3you da man
- beef623, on 05/26/2009, -0/+2That's the only kind I'll buy, they're far more comfortable than the ones with the spreader bars. I don't really see why they were recalled, were they breaking and causing heads to get stuck? It's not something you can really do by accident...
- mikemehak, on 05/25/2009, -1/+3no to mention the fact is caused rampant homosexuality with big brothers using their sisters easy bake ovens to make cupcakes.
- inactive, on 05/25/2009, -0/+2Kind of like how my old black cats up in the attic that could blow off your fingers are legal to have just not to buy.
- Spinducky08, on 05/25/2009, -1/+3Damn you douchebags that made the "powers that be" make lawn darts illegal just because you were too mentally challenged to NOT get out of the way when they came towards you!
Damn you to hell!
Now there's THIS (where's the DANGER in THESE - no fun at all!) http://z.about.com/d/familyfitness/1/0/v/1/-/-/ogo ... - dvazgird, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1what about mister bucket?
- jiesa, on 05/29/2009, -0/+1@spinducky - Don't forget about "cornhole". I could have lived my whole life without ever knowing about cornhole. What a stupid, stupid game.
- Genobeam, on 05/25/2009, -0/+1That kind of hammock is really common in central and south america.
- kashem, on 05/25/2009, -1/+2They need to add Peanut products to this list. The havoc caused by the tainted product resulted in untold amounts of $$$ in the form of recalled goods.
- SaltilloPunk, on 05/26/2009, -0/+1It could be worse. For example, a site might decide to publish a list of 100 top comic book characters and have each one on an individual page. Or has this already been done?
- SaltilloPunk, on 05/26/2009, -0/+1I am confused in the same manner. I had a couple of these and don't recall the ball being so small as to cause suffocation. The toy seemed to be of the size that could get stuck in a toddler's throat. At some point I need to clear some stuff out of storage, and I think the toys might be in there. I will have to remember to take a look and see if my memory is wrong.
- jlcotton1968, on 05/25/2009, -1/+1No $h!t
- inactive, on 05/25/2009, -4/+2Digg needs to be recalled because it is filled with defects.
- weister42, on 05/25/2009, -8/+3I recall that Total Recall called about the recalls of their new Total Recall movie.
- iFrix, on 05/25/2009, -7/+2I still find it funny how some people think the Chinese will be a treat if they can't even make a simple toy without screwing it up somehow!
