  • HarChim, on 12/25/2008, -8/+64Seriously? Only one person in my group of friends has a monitor bigger than 19 inches and we're all hardcore gamers with fairly up to date hardware. I feel like either we're just poor college kids that never want to spend money on a monitor or there are a lot more people with 1280x1024 that just don't speak up because they feel like they're in the minority.
  • rotundo, on 12/25/2008, -2/+46You obviously didn't have a computer for much of the 90's. I was doing web design work in 98 and I had to design for 640x480, which is what a huge percentage of our users had. That plus 800x600 made up some 80% of our traffic.

    Being a designer at the time I was tricked out with 1024x768 :)
