I suspect some of these might've been really good but these pics were really lacking. I mean, what was the entire scene like with that burnt corpse? Sadly, I'll never know.

Time was there were turnip lanterns and guising, mischief nights, mummers plays, soul-caking, lord of misrule nearer Christmas, and trick or treat meant something rather different - children would sing a song, recite a poem, perform a play, and get a treat in return. How about that? Then it went all 'New World' and now it's pumpkins (being easier to carve) and bratty kids marauding around neighbourhoods getting something for nothing. Throw in commercialization, crappy Hollywood movies, and everyone wearing the same dumb Scream mask.

What's wrong with puking pumpkins? The first time I saw one I laughed my a** off! And the destructive pumpkin man with the pumpkin skull in hand is pretty genious. It would be scary, except that pumpkins are the world's funniest vegetable, so it's like looking at a vampire duck or something equally ridiculous.
