Some went so far as to protect their own Ventrilo channel with a password. How inconsiderate is that? I usually ended up kicking them after a week or so. We ended up with mostly UK based players & Dutchies who were over 20. They are also the only people I still have contact with from that time (I stopped playing ages ago after all the kids drove me nuts and I got fed up with having to deal with the same ***** every time someone applied or left the guild because they thought "the grass was greener on the other side"). Lootwhores killed WoW for me.
