- AndersenWatcher, on 05/12/2009, -1/+14It never ceases to amaze me what can be done with Legos.
- Usatrash, on 05/11/2009, -0/+12Saw these live in the Lineage Gallery in Philadelphia and they were truly awesome.
- thegrantman, on 05/12/2009, -0/+10Make sure you click on a picture and use the zoom.
- wannaBdug, on 05/11/2009, -1/+10Whoa these are really cool.
- The2ndAct, on 05/12/2009, -0/+8Work of that detail requires higher resolution pictures. I want to zoom in closer.
- gwaggy12, on 05/12/2009, -0/+7The level of detail is phenomenal.
- Myztry, on 05/12/2009, -0/+7I like how he hides one of his victims skeletons in plain sight...
- Billions, on 05/12/2009, -0/+6My neighbor owns two of his pieces, so I've spent a little time studying the levels of layered detail.
Kuksi has a good sense of humor, evidenced by some of the tiny gags he hides in the pieces. The work that went into finding, fitting, gluing and painting all the parts must be immense. It really appeals to the fan of the pre-CGI ILM days of sfx guys scrounging model kits for battleship towers and gun turrets. - darklink3, on 05/12/2009, -0/+5does anyone know what medium he typically uses for the sculptures? ...most, if not all of them just say mixed media so i was wondering if he collected a bunch of figurines in addition to other mediums like plaster casts? anyone know?

The first thought that came to my head was "Who the hell is Kris Kuksi and why are there amazing sculptures of him?"
Regardless, those were awesome sculptures. - Foenetik, on 05/12/2009, -0/+4this guy was in juxtapoz magazine not that long ago, great stuff.
- facespaz, on 05/12/2009, -0/+4This is great stuff, I wasn't expecting digg to introduce me to such a cool artist.
- Myztry, on 05/12/2009, -0/+4It would make sense that the site owners actually submitted the articles themselves. Like entering a competition.
Unfortunately I think it's as pointless for content owners as it is for you or I. Digg submittions only really works for the players. - AndersenWatcher, on 05/12/2009, -1/+5I said LEGOS not DUPLOS. Get a clue!
- intro211, on 05/12/2009, -0/+4the kind of art that only serial killers are able to do..

- vidaliasweet, on 05/12/2009, -0/+3Kind of a steam punk meets HR Giger on acid, yeah.
- skyjis6, on 05/12/2009, -0/+2dugg for the guy with the foot in his mouth and a raging hard on in "Ode to Decadence." 158 weird0 points awarded to Mr. Kuksi
- Supertrout, on 05/12/2009, -0/+2Attention whore.
- Rainemaker, on 05/12/2009, -0/+2Very Cool. Anyone else get a "Steam Punk" jive off of some of his stuff?
- evisr8r, on 05/12/2009, -1/+2"The art of" is not incorrect grammar. It's a good idea to learn that in most cases the art itself is the focus and not just the subject. Then it will look right upon first glance.
- kaniz, on 05/12/2009, -0/+1An art gallery near me is having a showing of his stuff soon, will be going by the opening night to check things out.
- bigp3rm, on 05/12/2009, -0/+1I was curious myself.

- KnivesForRobots, on 05/12/2009, -9/+6i hate digg.
i havent logged on, made comments or dugg anything for weeks [when they started the digg bar].
i submitted the kris kuksi website months ago, but as everyone here knows, what you submit doesnt mean ***** unless youre a loser with no life and spend all your time ego-humping other losers and building a network of worms that will digg whatever dumb ***** you submit.
i started a mini-blog on my kris kuksi submission, ranting about how digg sucked, and comparing my submission to the inane crap that was making the front page that day. then digg deleted it. oh well. i'd already come to the conclusion that digg isn't worth the two clicks it takes to sign in.
later digg, won't be signing in again. - tillerman00, on 05/12/2009, -7/+1oh, i get it, you mean it's funny to presume the sculptures are made from legos because legos are simplistic building blocks used by children and these sculptures are actually carved by the hand of a true artist.
you're a funny guy.

What is Digg?
