The NES had been out for 5 years by '90 and the SNES was released in '91, Zubaz pants were introduced in '88 and became popular in like '90, and Fresh Prince hit its peak in like '93. Also, that self titled Mariah Carey album on the floor was released in early 1990.
An accurate portrayal of the '90s in one pic would have a teenager with neck length blonde hair and brown roots, wearing ripped jeans, a flannel shirt tied around his waist and either combat boots or converse, sitting in front of an original Bondi Blue iMac running AOL 4.0. There'd be a TV with Friends or Seinfeld on the screen, and a playstation or super nintendo below it. There'd be a Pamela Anderson Baywatch poster on the wall, as well as some Simpsons memorabilia somewhere. Also somewhere in the room would be a stereo with Third Eye Blind, Bush and Nirvana CDs next to it.
