In there throw in about 40+ bars ( about 40% are Irish Pubs). The only downside is all the wankers from out of town pissing all over, but we get $1,000 for each one of those that are ticketed, haha.

The South Side Irish Parade is the best in the country, and we got this little river we turn green, and we got some of the best Irish pubs in the country, and you can get Guinness or a black and tan almost anywhere.

When I first moved here - about 6 years ago, we claimed to have "one of the largest" St. Patrick's Day celebrations "in the country." Over the past few years, the hyperbole has really gotten crazy...last year it was "the largest in the country" and this year I heard "largest in the world."
Both of which are just ridiculous. The city is certainly packed with people today, but you can't convince me that it's bigger than New York or Boston. - rjey, on 03/17/2009, -1/+3One trip to Butte on St Patty's day and the author would revise that list, for sure.

He also decided that it would be a good idea to limit the mug size that the beer vendors were able to sell.
