- Dundasbro, on 08/10/2008, -1/+39A girl who evidently has never seen a penis.
- inactive, on 08/10/2008, -0/+23i like how they're all made of smoke
- brincatmark, on 08/10/2008, -1/+12... ??
- Stoyanov, on 08/08/2008, -2/+10These definitely add a new meaning to "What were they smoking?".
- sonar1, on 08/10/2008, -1/+9"Watching the smoke dance out of a cigarette is like watching a girl dance out of her dress."
~D.H. Mondfleur - madmondo, on 08/08/2008, -1/+8Very cool.
- Snottlebocket, on 08/10/2008, -1/+8So once something get's used as a desktop it's no longer art?
- Moriko20x6, on 08/10/2008, -0/+6you must need some fast shutter speed for this....
- Disinterested, on 08/10/2008, -0/+6makes me wanna get high
- zombiedepot, on 08/10/2008, -0/+6I'm not very good with photography, but I'm curious how is this effect achieved?
- aftern9ne, on 08/08/2008, -5/+11If by art you mean a wallpaper.
- sekith, on 08/09/2008, -9/+14i this one was a penis at first, then i realized it was a woman lolz

im a girl... maybe thats why haha - t3hmyth, on 08/09/2008, -1/+6Quite cool, but it just seems like even the "real" smoke patterns are photoshopped.
- desigi, on 08/09/2008, -2/+7Still doesn't make me want to smoke though.
- Soave, on 08/10/2008, -0/+5I don't want to be annoying by posting my own blog, but I thought it was relevant enough to be of interest to some Diggers. Here are a few posts I wrote about how to photography and color smoke:

Coloring smoke: http://soavephotography.blogspot.com/2007/12/color ... - radsprack, on 08/10/2008, -0/+5...or a naked woman.
- spencerrock, on 08/08/2008, -1/+5Amazing. Makes me want a D-SLR.
- Coffeedemon, on 08/10/2008, -0/+4To a certain extent they are (but they are still real). Usually darkened to finish removing any visible background and in the case of the white background/coloured smoke pics are often inverted after being taken with a black background.
- Coffeedemon, on 08/10/2008, -1/+4By chance and by taking 500+ pictures.
- CanTheSpam, on 08/10/2008, -0/+3Amazing. Makes me want to start smoking.
- dwninjungleland, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2I was expecting to see "Smoke 2 Joints"
or at least I would like to be Waiting for my Ruca. - DillonHinson, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2Here is a link to a similar smoke photo I did. I explain in detail the steps I took and the equipment I used to achieve this kind of image.

-unknown - GiJoeBob, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2Great desktop material
- DillonHinson, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2Good, cause that's not the point of this.
- ZombieSociety, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2Dugg for the use of Camels.
- cjvercetti, on 08/10/2008, -1/+3Really cool, but now I want a cigarette lol.
- sc0tty0, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2I think a strobe light is used.
- Coffeedemon, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2I used this link http://photocritic.org/artsmoke-photographing-smok ...
Its hard though - especially if you don't have an off camera flash that is triggered automatically. Lots of trial and error. - xkleenexk, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2it better have been some high quality ganj! XD
- MrFurious2k, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2The skulls with the cigs are a bit cliche, but really most of these are pretty interesting.
- ElBeh, on 08/10/2008, -0/+2Reminds me of Fractal Flames: http://images.google.com/images?q=fractal%20flames ...
- DillonHinson, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1Actually, in most cases, a slower shutter speed is used; something in the range of 2-6 seconds. This is done to allow the smoke to form the shape that it does. An off camera flash is fired to illuminate the smoke from behind and below.
- 7073M, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1cool, but the smoke from a nice joint is always more entertaining if you ask me...
- Stoyanov, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1I can't understand how the photographers arranged the forms though -- a crown, woman?
- ama5707, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1somewhere right now, the Smoking Man is jacking off to this
- Kunohara, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1Smoke porn.
- GateOpener, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1I like woman dancing out of the cigarette. Cool Idea, nice photoshop skills with the last set.

- inactive, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1holy *****! that woman looks so real!!
Move over vermeer. cough. - Ragingidiot, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1I remember the first time i thought of smoke as something aesthetic, when i started smoking pot. it looks so peaceful!
- SomeCallMeBruce, on 08/10/2008, -1/+1I think I saw a nipple!!! :P....
- fritzek, on 08/10/2008, -0/+0Black background and light from the side?
- fritzek, on 08/10/2008, -1/+1No, they're not. Try to light a cigarette and make hundrets of photos. I'm sure you'll get some nice ones.
- adamantium, on 08/10/2008, -1/+1Is that Nick Stahl (The guy who played John Conner in T3) in the last picture?
Picture- http://lh6.ggpht.com/abramsv/SJynO0w-LzI/AAAAAAAAY ...
